multiple times now, they have been put on the same case... against each other... one as the prosecutor, one as defence.
all i can say though... when that happens, they still have a 100% win streak

pretty much when they are on the same case.
though sometimes Emmie gets distracted by a good looking person walks past
they have normal arguments like any normal sisters would, but are best friends about 95% of the time

they 'usually' are back to being best friends and loving sisters a few hours later.

Makes you wonder how they became both a defender and a prosecutor without the other being one as well...

they were in two different conversations at once one day. Emmie was getting angry at one friends story and wanted to pound the jerk in the face. While Claire was talking to a different friend about a custody case and keeping the persons children.
They had already been in law school for a number of years at this point, so they both took the separate cases to do what they could to help.

I hadn't had any actual reason for it until now, i just thought them being on opposite sides would be fun.
