Description My second piece tribute to the guinea pig films.

- Mermaid in a Manhole ( [link] )

Flowers of Flesh and Blood was the first of the films that I actually watched. It's what originally got me interested in fake snuff films and started my ongoing search for movies that will gross me out/disturb me. :heart

(Originally she was going to come out differently, but when inspiration takes hold you juts sort of go for the ride. No point in trying to steer it a different path.)

Watercolors, pen and fake blood. Lots of fake blood.

I've seen several of this guys work (Panorama of Helll, Hell baby, mermaid in the manhole, and this) and all of them are fucking terrible! No pacing, no build up, just balls to the wall gore and shock imagery and dripping maggots from beginning to end! It gets boring really fast and is actually really immature when you think about how infamous this guys work is! I've heard this guys work be called the ultimate horror mangas, and when I read them, they are always terrible!

This one in particular. What is this film trying to say?? Whats its purpose??!

He chops up a girl. The End.

Where is the charm?? Where is the sass??! Evil Dead had over the top gore yes, but it also had pacing, moments of actual suspense, and an actual PLOT.

Oh god, that movie. I still regret seeing a movie about a psycho in a Samurai Outfit, injecting a girl with morphine and sedatives, and then cutting all her limbs off while she's unconscious (and even after she dies). He even pulls out her eyeballs and puts them in his mouth. Ugh!

Also, some sociopath named Luka Magnotta did something like that for real, and even filmed it. Thankfully he was arrested and given a proper sentence though.

Her jelly innards were so fake and amusing,
just reminds me of my teen years.

ya real snuff...no thanks. There is a serious difference between real and simulated.

Well it was realistic enough for Charlie Sheen to actually report the movie, and they actually then had to bring in the actors to prove it was all fake.

ya but ...Charlie Sheen is kind of a space case as it is.
I wouldn't trust him to know the difference between a loaf of bread and a baby.

Although, I've never seen any of the Guinea Pig films.... it makes me think of a song by a group called Kittie
