I'm growing.Not physically, but mentally.
Feeling more okay with things.
Other stuff too.

I really love this painting.
It looks like poopieshit in this scan,
but in real life, hoe my god the background just looks so pretty.
I had actually intended to make this a very angry and centered upon my failure and what I'm sure everyone thinks of me. I decided nearing the end to change it to something more positive.
I really like strawberries and drawing them

I love those strawberries. And I can picture how it might look in real life, so no worries about the scan. My scanner butchers things, too. :/

Yeah. I actually put a weight on my scanner to make sure it scans it completely flat...it still doesn't pick up a lot of the faint colors :/

Yeah I always have to smush things down. I wonder if there could be a way to rig it up so that there's another layer of glass about an inch away, and then scan things from up above? Since it seems like most of the color fades from the lights being right against it.

I might try and attempt to do that. I have a piece of glass that sits on a table, but I might be able to set it on crates or something on either side of my scanner. If I ever actually try it, I'll let you know how it works.
