Description
This is my latest attempt at a full illustration.Any critique is greatly appreciated. I prefer it to be blunt and to the point. I'm really hoping to improve past this.

well would you mind to do something like a small tutorial of how you do the hair this way? i would be happy to improve a bit

This was really experimental and probably inefficient, but basically I used the wet brush in photoshop to smear black and white into random gray strands, then I did the same thing to add highlights, and then I colored it with a color layer.
I'll take some screenshots and show you next time I try it, if I can remember.

This looks fantastic! Rarity's literally glowing. She makes the winter look good. Excellent job with this, specially the background and the stars, really adds to the scene ^^
