Well thank you! xD My friend and I are still writing the story actually. Haven't had a chance to really work on the manga thanks to life/job obligations and am too busy playing VC2 right now to work on this little project xD
To answer your question, I referenced the emblem - it's the official one. Was a little hard to get an image of it back when I did this page...though ironically it's extremely easy now with the Artbook.

I'm playing Senjou no Valkyria 2 as well. Story sucks, most of the characters are junk anime stereotypes, but the gameplay is good enough to be all worth it. This is THE game to get a PSP for!
The artbook has the designs for all of the squad emblems? Sweet! I can use those to get cosplay companies to comission me a Valkyria Chronicles uniform!
Valkyria Chronicles is one of my all time favorite series of all time next to the MegaMan Legends series and Persona 3 and 4. I just love how the first game took anime archetypes but kept them mild, and mixed it with a great story and an amazingly realistic and fleshed out world! I just hope the development team doesn't go in the direction of the second game's story and characters. :/

The story isn't so great, though I thought there were some good choices on things to do. Namely it is interesting getting a picture of the country and how their ruler has changed. In some ways I view it as more Princess Cordelia's story rather than any of the new characters.
Gameplay is certainly good, and I'm glad I dropped the money for the PSP so I could play it. Looking forward to doing some of the multiplayer when I have a chance. XD
Definitely agree with your comment. Valkyria Chronicles definitely has a special place in my heart.
Now that Spring Vacation is here I might actually have a chance to sit down and draw! lol
