Another weekly art challenge, but this time by , , and... !For each challenge we interchangeably give ourselves an idea or topic to illustrate and a week to execute it in whatever shape or form... of course, without knowing what the others are going to come up with ;]
This week's topic is *daekazu 's idea: Day and Night as a man and the women.

Ok, it was my first idea. Sunny man and mysterious women. ;] And I really like Bollywood so the Night is a bit Bolly Girl hehe. ;D

beautiful! i wrote a piece about day and night as sentient beings a long long time ago. they never ever meet, they only see a glimpse of each other..everyday. hehe. this is an awesome image. those two beings look truly otherworldy.

In yours, Night reminds me of Scheherazade, the story teller from 1001 Arabian Nights... Very nice.

This reminds me of the Wiccan tradition of representing the Lady (main female deity) as the night, and the Lord (the Lady's son/lover/companion) as day. Similarly, it reminds me of Apollo and Artemis. Just a little folklore there...
