What LARP was it made for? The design itself is cool - have dreamt of proper holder for a deck few times too. Beautifully simple too.

Mage: The Awakening. My character makes extensive use of oracular magic, so it was almost a necessity.

Deffinitely necessity then. I made myself only small simple bag for deck to go with my hanseatic costume, I think for this year I'll make a going deck too, found some references on decks from that area.

Old european trade guild - we have them every year and I've taken part of them also almost every year, except this one - I'm working at that time.

I've already sold a few things to people I know. I'm working on building up a larger array of designs and some more stock, but I've had a request to sell stuff at a store that caters to the goth/industrial/etc. crowd.

Wow. Now, I'm nowhere near an expert in leatherwork but I'm fairly sure that this would come under the classification of awesome.
I really like the clasp you chose. I would say that it does indeed give in a steampunk feel.
How does the back of it look? Does it have a loop or something so that you could possibly clip it onto a belt/gun holster etc?

I'm hoping the cards inside have a steampunk theme.

The back has a leather belt loop. There's also a D-ring in case I need to attach it to something else in a differant way, or want to hang something from it. The cards have a picture of what looks to be the front of a mausoleum or ancient greek temple or something along those lines.
