Description The splitting of space time in the Aegis galaxy (PGS-C 302.992.64b) can almost be considered a routine affair.

The spontaneous manifestation of new life is just another successful experiment in one of the largest laboratories in existence.

SherΓ΄dan-Yinda, you live, but can you answer one thing? Do you know what your purpose is?

The text is pretty close to my shorthand font, so I like using it for Bright Future stuff.

It's a royalty free, mono-spaced, and code optimal font. Have a download if you want. www.dafont.com/white-rabbit.fo…

If you're referring to my made up language, 'sigil', there unfortunately is no font type for that one. Yet.

Thanks. I got started with my concept design years ago working on a homeworld total conversion, so I think it's safe to say that its art has inspired me for sure.

My GOD!

What a ship!!

I take it it is sentient?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Daemoria In reply to Colourbrand [2015-10-07 21:48:59 +0000 UTC]

Yes, it is sentient. Very much so. While at the time of its physical manifestation, it's inexperienced, and frankly bewildered, it will grow to become a god-like entity.

I dont care so much how many naked and blatantly sexual females you draw, I am always enamored by your amazing ship design, I love this thing! well done.

My first thought "aww that's a bit unfair, most humans don't know what their purpose is".Β  Then I realised, it's a ship.Β  Maybe it knows its purpose.Β  Especially with a class like "dreadnaught".Β  I love the shape of it.Β  I find these kinds of crafts generally a bit on the large side for my liking, but I would pick this one on nice form

Cool ship! Have you ever tried modeling these in 3d?

Daemoria In reply to Alexx-C [2015-10-07 14:54:55 +0000 UTC]

For specific examples, since I included it on this sheet for scale, the Gromov Assault ship. daemoria.deviantart.com/art/So… Fairly simple model, but I took this further with an illustration.

daemoria.deviantart.com/art/Th…

Khal also used my mesh assets here khal941.deviantart.com/art/Ren… and here khal941.deviantart.com/art/Inv… . All components, aside from the planets had a 3d mesh to provide for speed ++ and awesomeness. That's the technical qualities, trust me, i'm a professional.

Well, the workflow for my designs varies, depending on how i wantΒ  to complete them. Rough one off designs i might have a 5 minute sketch, followed by a quick model to get a nice rough shape for the perspective image.

Images for designs that I want to continue to use require quite a bit of preparation tho. The first stage typically is a perspective sketch and top/side orthogonal view. Exactly what I did here.

sketchfab.com/DaemoriaZy/model… I've made several moderately refined models, and you can view them here.

Often, those meshes are enough to work from. I've built meshes for and to work from. If i modeled all the details, those lazy bums wouldn't have any difficult work left. I gotta let them have some fun too.

To boldly order lunch for the entire crew at the biggest intergalactic drive-thru in the known universe!!!

I think she might be slightly over-engineered to deliver lunches, but it's defiantly within the capabilities for sure.

fxboxing-fan In reply to Daemoria [2015-10-07 20:28:04 +0000 UTC]

Who knows? Delivering a good hot lunch to someone just might save the universe (which is so DOOMED if your timeline applies to this fine ship). Sometimes it's the little things that - like lunch deliveries - that make the biggest impact

Contemplating the the Ever-Shining One, the relevent, indeed the urgent question is who she is delivering for lunch, and how to avoid it being yourself. (It's equally important not to become the starting point and raw material for one of her bloody interior decorating schemes)
