UM, anyways I decided that I wanted to make another one of these canine vs feline tutorials since many people found the last one very helpful. :3 It's designed mostly to help artists who are used to either drawing canines or felines, but want to try the other. However, it can be used by anyone. XD
Remember--Nothing can replace drawing from life! These tutorials are just a starting place to point some stuff out. You may use the images in this tutorial for reference, however be warned that I make many mistakes while drawing too and it's a much better idea to reference from photos!
Also, I'm in no way an expert on this subject. I'm just a teenager who wanted to share some things I noticed about anatomy.
Hopefully my wording on the tutorial is understandable. I have a hard time explaining things sometimes. XDD

about felines thats not entirely so in all cases, big cats has different head proportions than house cats, and also pumar are quite different than lions and somehow than cats

All the big cats are a bit different but in general follow many of the same "rules". More so when you look at certainΒ Genus

I always used to draw the feline's muzzle like a short canine's! So this helped a LOT!

Yes people, you can even make a bear like a fat canine, with a tiny muzzle. That is exactly what I did to a bear when I was little. It looks awful and still does, but my felines, and especially canine (particularly wolves) have gotten whole lot better. And years after, I find this tutorial and you should of seen my face when I read - Now this is where people do the "most" mistakes!

i found that the tear drop thing you mentioned here QUITE helpful. although I couldn't help but think about the cat from Disney Oliver and Company from this. quite the dog face he has compared to this (lol)
