Sooo, I'm trying to get back into digital realism as I havn't done any in a while.This is supposed to be a Coyote. XD Here's my ref: [link]
I'm feeling like mine is looking too wolfy though. D:

I'm actually working on it right now. I fixed the anatomy on the sketch a bit and now I'm starting to color. 8D

I think the neck could be more slimmed down so it's not as bulky and fluffy like a wolf's. I don't really know, but it looks wonderful as it is. I can't wait to see it finished!

just maybe a bit too fluffy around the scruff and too thick in the muzzle, other than that its really cute X3

Not a professional or anything, and I'm not able to write a 'critique' since I don't have a premium, soooo, here goes nothing anyways! x3
Although it does look 'wolfish', I think that's the way it should look, since the two species are pretty closely related to each other.
My only real suggestion I can think of really, is probably try making the ears bigger, since coyotes/desert foxes, etc usually have huge ears to help them cool off yadda yadda yadda.
Also perhaps try to make the forehead larger...?
Like, more space between the eyes & top of the head.
Besides that, I think it's coming along really good, good form and everything.

looks great, actually. the muzzle looks a little too thick for a coyote though. looks awesome. cant wait till its finished!

I can't make critiques or redlines, I'll just give some advice. The ears should be longer and more narrow, and the muzzle should stick out more. And the top of the skull should be a little higher. Other than that, it looks great.
