So, I totally went to watch "How to train your Dragon" a few days ago and... wow, just wow. I admit I went into the movie with high expectations given whom directed it and mostly due to the Trailers I watched.Still, despite that, the movie managed to successfully blow me out of the water. Several times. Hell, I don't think there was a single part in the movie that I DIDN'T enjoy terribly. I loved the characters, their design, the story, everything about it.
I specially loved The night fury's (Toothless') design and the way they animated his body movements and wings, not to mention how expressive the creature without talking could be (major plus imho - had the dragons talked, it'd have taken away from the tale). I loved Hiccup and his relationship with the dragon; how he tamed it, etc. Just wow.
So yeah, Speed painting times! I'd been wanting to doodle something since watching the movie, but found no time, however, I finally sat down today and shoved this out in a couple of hours. Funny because I'm about to run off in an hour to rewatch the movie in 3D (yes it was totally worth a rewatch).

Wow, nice picture, nice dictription. the movie blew my mind too, except i went for a few weeks saying, "I'll see that eventually" And when I saw it, i had to see it againg, and again and again... I had to stop after the 8th time because toothless's figure was stained into my head and I thought of his body when i should have been thinking of the dragon in my book. haha, so it was eiher tootless or sterg. anyway, i'm off topic, nice drawing = two dragon's thumbs up.

How to train your dragon is my favorite movie EVERRR! and i'm always so glad to hear that other people felt the same as i did ^^ Toothless is just too cute!

What i admired the most was, first, the incredible range of facial expressions Toothless had, especially since it has a very narrow lower jaw and, the incredible flying he had. Toothless maneuvered like a falcon in flight, almost like a living fighter.
This movie is destined to become a classic among classic!
