They get to recruit a new member, and I got together with Ary and we both decided it'd be super funny to saddle them with an egg that hatches into the cutest, fluffiest, sweetest thing we could think of. Shiny Sentret was the winner in the end (have you seen how cute shiny Furret is?? oh my god that thing is made of pure sugar candy). So this was my lil sketch session that solidified the notion of this little bby as their new 'recruit'.

None of this is ic canon yet, as I am going to be waiting until recruitment is officially open to start the ordeal. This is just me having fun with it. But still. I get the impression Hannibal would be 100% against this whole idea since the moment Sunny brings the egg into their lives. He bitches and bemoans it until the day it hatches.

The day that little Sentret hatches... he's just absolutely taken by it. He just freaking falls in love with the tiny critter (Not in THAT way! Minds out of the gutter!), and I just picture this tiny ball of fluff residing on top of his head almost 24/7, and when its asleep, it looks like he's wearing a 'coon hat idek. Hannibal is 100% daddy material the moment it hatches, and he's super into it. He's best dad.

Also, that apron he's wearing is probably super girly and he gives no shits. I get the impression he does most of the house chores while Sunny is the public face that deals with customers, because Hannibal scares them all away from their shop, lmao. We're not set on the gender yet. I think Ary was leaning towards female. I'm actually pondering male because sweet little boy, c'mon. IDK. We'll see.
