I've had only 2 successful snowflake shots in my 3 years of trying. We recently had a good snow but I was sick and couldn't even make an attempt. Hopefully I'll get another chance...it is only Jan. 3rd.

Snowflakes are so weird. I never looked at them from so upclose myself, their structures kind of amazes me

Thank You my friend! During the summer I saved up and bought a Nikon 105mm macro vr lens in hopes to improve my snowflakes!!! There are several other factors like what to use to photograph them ON!
