I've been trying to draw Squall and Rinoa for my Dissidia NT series, but still couldn't come up with a satisfying drawing for any of them... So I decided to finish this drawing I had started a while ago ^^ I wanted to portray how even the cold and distant Squall began to soften to Rinoa 's natural charm and smile
I really can't wait for the Mobius x FF8 collab !! I wonder if it will be a canon story like the FFX one ! And I sure hope Rinoa is in it !

This is really great, I love the facial expressions on Squall and Rinoa, especially Rinoa's smile, it makes her looks so pretty! Your attention to detail never ceases to amaze me, and I really love the highlights you added to Rinoa's hair too! I feel like Squall's hair is a bit *too* bright and should have been much darker, I can also see a light blush upon closer look, which I think should have been more defined. I feel like Squall's eyes should have been brighter too, along with the fluff on his jacket; generally, I feel like Rinoa has much brighter and vibrant colors compared to Squall that's got a darker color palette, though maybe that's what you were going for since I figure that Riona is a bright and happy character and Squall is a more reserved and quiet person, but I don't know. Though these details don't really affect the overall quality of the picture, I still thought it was important to address them.
Other than that, this is amazing!

I know a little bit about Final Fantasy, but not much about this other game series. The flow of the hair is great. Even having them at an angle is great.

Some like Squall are just chosen to go through stuff lols. XD
Speaking of FF stuff, Opera Omnia, besides needing to play it again, I still wonder how it relates to NT outside the two new Gods, to me it seems different from the others somehow.
