EDIT: You may notice that he doesn't have horns here (oh noes! everyone panic! -_-)... because I couldn't find a way to get them into the picture without either A) looking stupid, B) making him creepier than he already is, and because C), his hair doesn't look as good with his JakX-style'd hair. Yeah. That is all.... I swear that he's only smiling because he knows that you're going to die by his hands... in your sleep.
God he's waaaaay too damned creepy-looking here.
In my head, this is what evil in disguise looks like. *hides in a corner and whimpers*

Yeah I know, he's not as chubby as the light Jak plushie I made not too long ago... Jak was just too lazy to exercise and decided to go on the Krispy-Kreme diet for that one day, that's all.

Heh... I agree with you in some ways more than others.
It's just the people that think that dark Jak is some sort of seperate being that came into existance via dark eco and Jak's own mind that really irks me. It's uber-unoriginal and too... uncreative. Besides, practically every freaking person on the planet that knows about Jak and Dax believes that for God-knows-what-retarded-reason.
They just can't see poor dark Jak for what he is.
Either he's a evil-demon that lurks in Jak's head, or whatever the complete opposite is... like a hairy ape or whatever. God, isn't there anything in the middle for these people?

Yesh, I soo agree with you. When I saw DarkJak when I played the Jak2 game, I think of him as like a man into beast thing, for example werewolf. 
It's obvious and at fanfiction.net and DA, they had their own opinion, but they blasted the true reality about Light and Dark. I won't flame, it's bad news. I got flamed at loooong ago by saying about my opinion about someone's fic that has Dark and Light fighting against each other. It's in the past now and I have learned better just to not comment on the bad fics and only comment on the descriptions of the highly detailed transformation scenes that I encounter.

Beware. This involves biology, psychology, and a mild understanding of quantum-physics. I'm a scientist-kind-of-observative-freak-and-like-to-know-how-things-work-and-solve-life's-puzzles-kind-of-person. So shoot meh.
Yeah... Heh... what's funny is that we look at dark Jak almost the same... but Light-o completely different.
What I think about light Jak is that his light form is more about... well... lemme' list:
1) Mental power- since dark Jak is very primitive and unevolved (you would be able to tell by the primitive features and adaptations that animals possess; i.e. claws, fangs, horns, large eyes, poofy-hair, etc.), this would make light Jak the complete opposite. Since dark Jak seems to... er... lack any apparent complex mental abilities... this would mean that light Jak has those. Dark Jak is pissed and tense and everything unhappy in general, but light Jak is just tranquil and more contemplative. So basically I'm debating with you that you're getting confused with 'mental' and 'spiritual', silly.
2) Heh... yes, I also consider his light powers to be a 'gift' from the Precursors (aren't they generous... ?), to balance out his dark powers considerably, lest poor Jak would probably turn corrupt and insane (or more insane than he already is...). Yeah. Not much to say about this specific topic, actually.
3) I would go into anatomy and a full-body structure mapping, but that would take way too long and I'll spare you the details for now.
4) I'm lazy and have been talking for too long and now I'm getting tired, so I'm gonna wrap this up...
Before I forget... and I'm sorry to say this and that I haven't said it earlier, but... you're insulting Taoism.
Do you even know what the Yin-Yang actually represents? I don't like to burst your bubble, but I know a few Taoists over from Asia that are saying that what you think the Yin-Yang means is wrong. You think that it represents 'balance and harmony and dark and light' and whatnot. I know you really don't like it when people tell you that you're wrong but... you're wrong. Take it from the word of a Taoist.

The Seal of Mar, does infact, look similar to the Yin-Yang (ND based it upon it, of course), but that doesn't make it the Yin-Yang.

In my logical little scientifically-strict mind, dark and light Jak can't be in the same room together (unless we are talking about time travel... which is a totally different story...), let alone fight each other. For one thing, there isn't really a 'they' (as in dark and light Jak, is what I mean), there's just Jak, and he has extreme mood problems combined with eco infused into his DNA; it's not any more complicated than that. It's reeeeeaaaallly simple. Most normal people would bitch at me and consider that single sentence extremely complicated and that I look too far into it. If I can explain that in one sentence (without using any commas or listings or anything), then it's not hard to comprehend.
Now... if you've read this story... 'One', by Krin (it is my favorite story ever in the J&D section of fanfiction... because I think that she's really the only one who understands...)

Same here. Unfortunately, fanfiction.net is filled up with a lot of crap. There are only maybe 5 writers on the entire website in the Jak and Dax section that can actually be considered 'good'. One of them is a yaoi-writer... but that has nothing to do with it...

And really... who wants that?
3) "Well... dark Jak and Jak are so different..." <<< You know what? If you were to compare a Yorkshire Terrier and a Golden Retriever, you'd probably find quite a few differences in attitude. But they are still both dogs.
... I think that was kind of a crappy explaination... sorry if it was.
4) "There's no other way to explain it, really." <<< This one I head from a very good author at fanfiction.net, and I was shocked at this one. And you know how I said that #1 up there was the most retarded reason ever? Well I was wrong. THIS is the most retarded reason EVER. There's no reason as to why you can't at least think about it for more than five minutes, at least. It's just frustrating... and I'm getting frustrated with how people are ruining my fandom. ;;_;;

Yesh. I agree with you on the Dark Jak and Light Jak one and in all of fandom. I also read that fanfic and I also agree on that because I forgot to tell you on my last post that I know Dark and Light aren't seperate beings, but Jak in his 2 infamous forms.
Since we have the same complaints, large opinions, and thoughtfulness of how Light and Dark Jak are for real and not in twisted realities in most fanfictions, we can make a DA club about it or make an official forum about the true meaning of Light and Dark Jak. We can be owners of the club because of this.
