This is probably the first picture in my entire life history of using fancypants artist's markers that I've made an entire image without any linework whatsoever.
I added the black lines after I was finished with the picture, and I like the result. That way, it doesn't smear and it's nice and solid. Although I made it kinda scribbley here, so I don't think that counts.
I got new Copics and Prismas a while ago, and yeah. This is the result. I'm somewhat happy with it, although the scanner gunned down my beautiful/hideous MiGs in cold blood. D:>
Now, I could go into a rant about how much I absolutely hate the MiG-21 more than anything in the world (including animal abuse and Islamofascists), but I can save that for another day. Those who know me well enough will be glad that I'm saving my breath. :3
I think these guys are Soviets, but I can't be sure.

If I remember correctly, even the United States has gotten a hold on a few Fishbeds... along with other older MiGs. I mean, since they're outdated now, no one really cares that we have them now because they're so low-performance compared to our more modern fighters.

Weeelllllll, even with a good pilot, it's not quite as likely. Jets have more speed than a prop.
Now if we were talking about the Me-262, that would be a different story, I think.

Funny, SC was made by the same people that made WoW... Blizzard.
1998... I was seven. Lol. My brother bought it, he always lost, (lets say he isn't good at futuristic-tactical-warfare-based-on-which-units-pwn-other-units.) so he gave up on the game. I found it later when I was like, 10, found it, loved it. I sucked at that time though. I older, so I know a thing or two about tactics... Still, online people PWN me.
But, yeah, SC is such a good game, and its not as pricy as WoW. You can get 2 strategy guides, SC, SC:Brood War (expansion.Cool.), a weird little card with the tech tree for each race, and FREE unlimited online gaming, only for like, $15... its still on sale... I guess its the oldest game in the shelf. 1998... 2007... tells you a bit on how good it is... I saw it at circuit city, and best buy...
Yeah, SC:Battle Chest, includes all of the above, for $15 or $20... lol. I sound like an AD.

Futuristic-tactical-warfare-based-games are fun. Go watch an awesome show called "Future Weapons" on the Military Channel (if you get it, anyways... We have that channel on our satellite, and everytime I turn it on there's always something on about D-day or WWII... but occasionally, on Fridays and Saturdays I think, Future Weapons comes on. It's a good show to watch if you're trying to be creative with thinking of weapons in videogames that need to be designed...).
ANYWAYS. Yes, you sound like an ad. xDDD

I sure will let you play the game! In fact, I COULD let you BORROW the CD for the normal game, since I use the expansion pack one. It would be cool, cuz we could meet over battle.net (longstory short, place where we link up to game online.) and battle each other out! Or better yet, become allies and crush out enemies using dual-tactical-syncronised attacks! That would RULE! And, altough you can't use a headset, you got a real keyboard with you, not like JakX. D:
Yeah, really, that would rule. Hmm, but you would first have to pass the first test. To actually like the game. 
That includes everything I said before... hey, I forgot to mention another thing that the pack has, Campain Editor! You could make your own maps (that's how programed SC games using triggers are called.)
I'm gunna buy you that game if you don't, and you'll play the game AND LIKE IT! O_o;;

Yeah, I hear MiGs were effective fighters in Vietnam... but if you look at them today in comparison to more recent fighters such as the F-15C, Su-27, and F-22, it's like comparing a 1970's Buick to a shiny new Mercedes Benz...

i love that sharp composition. that's brilliant. and those colors are really breathtaking and extremely inspiring. the work in general is inspiring; i love the insane amount of detail that you managed to achieve w/ just the markers alone. it really shows in the piece.
i wish i could say more to fully show how much i love and appreciate this but i really am for the fail. ;o; i'll just stfu and fave. awesome work!
