This image forced me to learn three things; how to render metal, how to create a perspective speedline, and how to better render this type of hair.

Wow wow and wow. This is just great! The movement, skin tones, clothing, musculature, metal... really well done. The ONLY thing that looks a bit odd to me is the facial shape. Perhaps it's just those glasses making it look odd, though. Anyway, really excellent work.

While the linework can stand on its own, the finished image is amazing. AMAZING. I love the skin tones and how your hit the shadows just right; excellent. Love the glare in the glasses. The metal loks awesome also.

What makes her Lara-like? The glasses? She certainly doesn't carry guns, has no english accent, doesn't raid tombs, or is white for that matter... Normally I'd have stayed silent but I'm the character designer so your comment piqued my interest.

Oh believe me I meant no offense, but having read one of the comics (the art was by Billy Tan if you're interested), I just noticed some similarites between *daggerpoint 's style and his, but also, if I may, the hair and the figure sorta did it too. It just seemed a little familiar, that's all. Great design though!

Glad you liked it. I intentionally didn't sway very far from the original design of your character. The jacket was actually an inspiration taken from Janet Jackson in her All For You video.

Thanks, though I think I can better the technique on rendering the hair, but I don't have enough time to experiment. I have so much more to do and little time to do it.
