I love this, and your whole gallery! (:
I've always found it hard to get
a good pose with my cat. It's probably
because the auto focus on my camera
broke and it takes forever to manually focus it and
once it is, my cat's not where I want her anymore, haha.

LOL!!! There's nothing quite like street shooting, you shoot on the run and you've got to be quick or you'll miss it. Studio shooting is all technical and studied rather than spontaneous.

Very true, and I'm pretty sure I prefer spontaneous; it keeps it new I would run out of ideas in a studio

That's probably true. The one good thing about shooting in a studio is that you have complete control over what happens and can apply all of your technical photography skills to obtaining the perfect picture but life is hardly perfect, ever; so studio shots never quite look natural. That and there is a limit on what you can drag into a sudio... Mountains, for instance, are right out.

Studio shots are great if you have a specific something, other than just a model or item to shoot, like if it's a fashion editorial then you can't go wrong with studio. Whereas I'm not involved in any sort of commercial photography so I would most likely get bored with a studio hahah

LOL! Well then, best to have a lens of large aperture. When I was shooting film I always used a normal lens with a maximum f-stop of 1.4. I could shoot in the dark (well, not quite...).
