Exact. The problem (in my opinion), is that lately I have the feeling that to see a good movie, you have to see many disasters before. A percentage of 1 good movie between 6-7 bad.. And on many occasions, desperate to waste time in watching a movie that you did not even finish seeing it. Transformers 5Β for example..
Have a great weekend tou too zeonasis!

Often happens. I read a few months ago, in an article in a magazine, that today made movies that forced you to advance with the command to the scene that you liked and the rest of the film ignored. And I think it's true. I used as an example captain america civil war. That the whole world to see the movie, was advancing to the airport scene and the rest, really did not care.
That is the cinema that I think is being done today (except for some films), to fill the coffers of money companies and little else..

agree, most movie companies now make movies for $$$ purpose only, actor's acting skill and scripts are not as good as old times.Β i do watch some older movies with no cgi/fx, simply enjoying actor's acting skills and timeless script/dialogue.Β

You're right. Last night I saw the films of Tom Hanks, The Money Pit and Big, and Labyrinth by David Bowie, and as you say, old movies are the best.
From the Cgi / Fx theme, I can't speak because I'm studying just that heheheh..
But if I think there is an excessive use of it in the current cinema, I like more that there is a 50% Cgi / Fx, 50% scale models as in Lord of the Rings for example.
And it also depends a lot on the type of movie it is, Avengers infiniti war, it will need a lot of the Cgi / Fx to be a great movie, but that does not mean that in my taste, less Cgi / Fx should be used than there will be in it.
