Description One of this should look familiar. XD I recoloured Espeon and added the rest of the Eeveelutions.

Having compared them to my old art, I'm rather proud to see the improvement I've made over this past year. ;w;

Pokemon belongs to Nintendo.

I really love the coloring style, just adds to it! Oh a simple question (sorry if you've already been asked this), how come no Leafeon or Glaceon?

Thank you!

For one thing, I was selling all these guys in sets of 6 (along with Red's team etc). For another, I drew Red's team as of GSC, so I thought it may be best to just stick to GSC/RBY Pokemon only.

...Also, I like these five best. Leafeon and Glaceon are cute, yeah, but these guys are my happy childhood. ;w;

Haha, you're welcome! :b

And ah, I see. I was just wondering. I honestly love all the Eeveelutions, but I get what you're saying. Childhood memories can really change what people think on things like Pokemon haha.

Just curious, what do you think about Sylveon?

Design wise, I wasn't too thrilled with the colour palette because it reminded me instantly of Milotic. There's also the type thing...

According to a leak, Sylveon is going to be a new type, the "Fairy" type. I have to admit I'm kind of skeptical about that, it sounds rather ridiculous.

Being a big fan of the Eeveelutions, I instantly fell like in love with Sylveon, but I do have to say that the originality is going down hill. The bows are a bit to much, but I'm used to them. And the color scheme? I don't like pink, but I say it's decent, not the best, but it's okay in my opinion.

And actually, I believe it's going to be something on the lines of magic, especially fairy. There's so many fairy-like Pokemon (or pinkums if you rather) and Sylveon does give off that feel. I mean, there's a recent anime clip released for the upcoming Pikachu short and the moves Sylveon uses are very magical looking and the background is filled with stars, something a fairy can possibly relate to.

No Leafeon/Glaceon?! I am shocked (XP).
(BUT NEVER MIND THAT, at least you can draw Pokemon...I have a hard time making them look like ...well...Pokemon :/)

I'm an old fart who prefers the older generations *shot*

I had a tough time with these guys too, but referencing from the PokeSpe manga helped a lot! owo

lol! I like the newer generations....*is also shot* I dunno, I think it's because the Pokemon designs are more "innovative" (I wouldn't have thought of a candelabra ghost type!).

Have you played all the games (like Red, Blue, Ylw etc...)?

Although it's not the case for every single one, I actually prefer the older generation for one main reason: that most of them look like they belong in nature. Like animals, but special. When you look at Pidgey, for example. And even the more exotic ones like Venusaur still looks like it lives in the wild. Whereas the new generations tend to look more like... well, manmade things. Like Digimon. It feels a little unnatural, given how candles are made by humans and there shouldn't be candles born randomly in the wild. Or ice cream cones. XD Of course there are a lot of exceptions, like Magnemite/Magneton and Voltorb/Electrode in the older generations, and Pachirisu and that fluffy white-grey mouse thing whose name I don't remember.

And after there were so many legendaries (including one that created the /world/... And then got CAUGHT by humans in a Pokeball?!), it just felt too "EHHHH??!?" for me to continue XD;

I've played RGBY, GSC, most of Sapphire/Emerald, FireRed, Half of Diamond/Pearl, SoulSilver, half of Black/White... and that's it for the main ones, I think. XD;

Daidairo, you turn everything into a valid argument. You should totally become a lawyer

I see what you mean (with the nature stuff) it's not my fault that I like the new generations and just happen to have candles and ice cream cones in my party T____T. I read somewhere that the Pkmn developers copped a bit of criticism with the new designs as well (getting less and less like "proper Pokemon" and officially running out of ideas so yeahhh, I know what you mean).

Haha!! I never actually gave that much thought (about the one that created the "world" and then got caught by humans in a pokeball XD)...is this Pkmn B/W by the way (haven't played in a while so I'm not sure).

Me too!! Except for Green/Emerald/FireRed/Pearl/White XP Did you ever do that Missingno cheat? Cos it never worked for me :/

LMAO I COULD NEVER. Lawyer = study and study =/= me. XDDDDDDD

It's just a matter of taste, I think, and to some people the fact that they no longer look like a part of nature is what they like, since Pokemon are meant to be 'monsters' after all. Some thought the candles and ice creams were really creative, and yes, I do think so too! It's just that I have a practical streak in me questioning the logic of it all ahahaha.

I'm not actually sure about which game that was in since I didn't complete them all, but I was told by friends that it's the Pokemon named Arceus XD

I don't think I ever did proper in-game cheats that much, I was too lazy to look them up XD; Apart from the 99 Rare Candy and the Pokemon Cloning one in the first generation, and then gameshark codes for my emulator GSC 8D;;

Meigumi In reply to Daidairo [2011-12-21 14:14:02 +0000 UTC]

XDDD

It is certainly a matter of taste And...that's all I can say for now (besides the fact that I still like the "creative-ness" of the new monsters XP)

Oh! Arceus...that was from Diamond/Pearl/Platinum I think (but I never knew that it was a Pokemon that "created" the world lol).

Haha! I tried doing the stupid Missingno cheat (NEVER worked for me); never tried the 99 Rare Candy/Pokemon Cloning one though lol
