But seeing as you follow what he does for a lot of their story, isn't KYLE the main character of the Kyle and Leon arc? That and it's his father that they're looking for anyways...

Not true of course. Then there's also the fact that Leon appears in Destiny 1 AND 2, while Kyle appears only in 2. That sort of makes Leon a lot more important.

Well, I'm a Kyle fan and hate Leon.
But it's really all based on how the story is told in ToVS. When Kyle and Leon split up on the Tartarus (I think), you follow Kyle, not Leon. That and the arc intro is all about Kyle, and I'm pretty sure you HAVE to control Kyle for at least one of the battles.
Then again, it's been a while since I've seen ToVS vids on YT...

I know it doesn't look like him ( I need to make his hair more curly), but this is Yggdrasil/Mithos from Tales of Symphonia.
