Inktober #20 - FROST -

Hiking up the mountain path the temperatures slowly but surely dropped.
Wiwi looked around the rocky terrain searching for where to go next.
"Hmmm... so if that weird pumpkin was right it said something about "frozen depths". Maybe it meant something like a cave?", Wiwi wondered to herself.

The two stars now aided her in searching the area until Twack excitingly bobbed up and down on her collar.
"There, there! Twack can see an entrance!"
And sure enough a cave entrance appeared in front of Wiwi.
She sighed. "Another cave, huh?"
After taking a deeeeep breath she carefully entered and followed the rocky path leading downwards.

Soon enough she felt the ground becoming more and more shiny and slippery as well.
Big corridors and rooms started forming around her and everything started to get coated by thin layers of ice shining and reflecting the bit of light her two star companions were emanating.
Wiwi focused on not losing her footing on the slippery ground and with her broom shouldered she quietly made her way through the cave, her image being reflected by countless icicles hanging from the walls and emerging from the ground.

She enjoyed the silent walk through this wondrous icy place, her breath starting to form small clouds in front of her.
For the first time she really felt this being the right path, but...
