doodles and stuff.

My OC's Delta and Sigma.
They kinda live in symbiosis with each other since Sigma needs Delta to keep her safe and Delta'd prolly be lost without Sigma.
They're both just kinda pathetic u_u

I want to draw something great and colourable but aaaa idk if it's ever gonna happen ;-;

Isn't subject DELTA and subject SIGMA both from Bioshock 2? Sigma is in the Minerva's Den DLC. (own it ^_^)

That is true as I own them as well ^^
They are also both letters in the greek alphabets and both are in my opinion the best sounding letter there alongside with beta and gamma~

Great and colorful CAN happen! Just keep working on it! And not watching TV episodes like I did last night. @_@ I watched too much. *dies*

I have a feeling that great and colourful might happen but not during this year ;-; I'm still trying to make things work again.
Actually I did watch TV episodes of Project runway last night x )
What were you watching? :0

I was watching Rome. The series is over but I never got around to finish watching it. I've got, like, only two more episodes to go. I'm going to watch it tonight.

I love watching Project Runway. The outfits can be really inspiring.

Oh cool! :0 I've watched a couple of episodes myself of Rome too : )
And good luck with the last two episodes! *0*

I love Project Runway too~~ It has become like the best tv show ever to me : ( At the moment I'm downloading seasons from Australian, Canadian and Korean Project Runways.. :'D

I've been so busy I haven't been able to watch the last two episodes yet! (TT^TT) I'll watch them when I get back home Saturday. I'm visiting a friend in South Korea at the moment.

Ooo! Tell me how the Australian, Canadian and Korean ones are. I haven't sat down and watched them yet, but I'm curious.

Owww, I want to visit South Korea too ;----; But I don't have any friends there x) I'm jealous...

I still haven't watched the Australian, Canadian or Korean Project Runways, but I think I'll start watching this weekend when I get back home from my holidays ~~ :0

For the most part I spent my days wandering around without the ability to speak Korean outside of Hello and Thank you because my friend was busy with work. @_@ But it's amazing how much you can get across by gesturing and having an open mind.

Well, if you ever decide you want to go to Japan, I'm there.

Nice! My friends here have been telling me about how much they love How I Met Your Mother, so I might pick up watching that show too. The episodes are only half an hour, so it's nice. It should be really fast catching up with the series too. I've seen the first season and they're done with at least four seasons. hahaha.

I've found gesturing pretty useful too xD Like last summer when I went to visit a DA friend of mine to Portugal for 10 days. She and her stepfather were the only ones who actually could speak english. But it was cool though.

I gotta keep that in mind! : D I was supposed to visit Japan last year, but a week before the trip those earthquakes happened and the trip had to be cancelled D: I was too afraid to go after that xDD Maybe some day I'll make it xD

I've heard about that show! I think my friend has been talking something about it, but I've never watched it myself. You gotta tell me if you like it and if I should watch it too : D

Nice! Gestures at work! That's how I found the public bath today. I asked a woman by saying the name of the place I wanted to go and she pointed and spouted out a TON of Korean and I pointed around to check and BAM. I found it.

Yeah. A lot of my friends went back to their home countries, but I stayed. I heard a lot of people didn't come back. I'm glad I stayed because it wasn't that bad where I live.

My friends were cracking jokes the other night about the show and I felt left out. I have a hard time not thinking about my old friend who started dating my ex shortly after we broke up so... it brings up bad memories. But I really should watch it and get over those old feelings, y'know? I'm going to do it! *determined*

Hahaha cool xDDD I think it's funny how in the end people from two different countries can communicate quite easily without having a common language to sepeak :' DD I guess gestures and pointing out and stuff like that always work!

Ooh good to hear it didn't get bad there! I can't even imagine how horrible it was on those areas that got the most of the damage : / I would've probably gone to my home country too after the earthquake, since I'm a bit of a coward when it comes to natural disasters xD

Oww, bad memories are just memories afterall, nothing wtong in getting over them >: DD Go for it chiyo! I'm rooting for you!
I started watching Tumbling with a friend yesterday. I fell in love with the show.. ;-;

Gestures and hand-signs, the international language. hahaha.

I actually noticed a little while ago that the tiles on the side of my apartment were slightly buckled. Not by much, but when it's night time and the light outside the building is shining down on it, I noticed it. I checked a picture I took of my apartment before the earthquake and noticed it was perfectly smooth there. It's amazing that you can see the effect the earthquake had even in Yokohama, which is fairly far from the epicenter.

I watched eight episode of How I Met Your Mother in a row the other day. The characters are so lovable that I think I can watch it without any negative feelings resurfacing. I'm so happy!

I'll have to give Tumbling a watch sometime soon! I put it on my list of shows to watch.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

DaijinMinister In reply to chiyokins [2012-01-11 14:03:57 +0000 UTC]

I think that seeing the effects of the earthquake so far from the epicenter is more scary than amazing D: I've also heard that the last large earthquake in Japan didn't even release all the tension on the ground and that there's going to be even larger earthquake going on some time. Though I've also read that that massive up-coming earthquake is already years late from the predictions, so it might not never even happen xDD Which would be great. I don't want natural disasters around the world to get any larger than they are D:

Ooh, sounds great! :0 Maybe I should check out the first couple of episodes and see if I'd like to watch it too x)

And yes, I definately recommend Tumbling <3 I love it especially because the main character is played by Yusuke Yamamoto and he is aaaawesome! I fell in love with him when he was in Hanazakari no Kimitachi e ;-; The only sad thing is that the last two episodes don't have any subtitles released and I don't understand Japanese well enough : <

chiyokins In reply to DaijinMinister [2012-01-14 04:59:47 +0000 UTC]

Well, you can either think of it as something to be really afraid of or you could just accept it as a natural process that is unavoidable. It doesn't stop it from being scary, but it's easier for me to accept.

You should totally try it out! Tell me what you think when you finish the first episode.

Ooo! I'll have to watch it then. What website do you use to watch it? Have you tried My Soju? Here's the link, just in case: [link]

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

DaijinMinister In reply to chiyokins [2012-01-14 14:39:09 +0000 UTC]

I'd rather not think about it at all or at least not too much. I get easily terrified about stuff that really can't even harm me. Stuff like meteors falling down and earthquakes and sun shutting down and stuff like that x)

I'll try to watch it as soon as possible, though I have quite many dramas to watch and manga to read atm. If I forget the whole thing, just remind me that I still have to watch it!

I rarely use websites to watch drama. It's much easier to download them and then download the subtitles if there aren't any in the vids. And I haven't tried that My Soju. I've never even heard of it really : 0 I gotta check that out and see if I can find Tumbling there >: DD Might as well check out some other dramas too... : D Thanks!

I think I have a similar problem, though for me it's more like, well, take for example: I'm holding a pair of scissors. My mind instantly flashes an image of me tripping and the scissors jabbing into me and injuring me. That's when I end up being really careful with the scissors. I don't know. I guess it's just me being paranoid.

By checking this reply I totally just remembered that I should try watching that show you recommended to me. I think I bookmarked it... but it'll probably take me a while to get to it. My friend suggested all these shows a while back and I still haven't watched them. I'm kinda' bad in that sense. hahaha. Don't forget to try giving How I Met Your Mother a shot!

You're welcome! I like downloading and watching with a huge playlist so I don't have to wait for load times, but I think I just don't have the patience to wait for things anymore... and I left my anime collection in America when I came here to Japan so I'm kinda' not feeling the urge to watch more anime because of that. I feel like I need to watch the anime I've burned onto DVDs and still haven't watched first. @_@

Hmm I guess a little paranoia isn't that bad, I'm kind of that myself too.

Oh yeah! I had totally forgotten about the show u_u' I've been terribly tired and otherwise off too lately.. Hm, I should totally try to watch at least the first episode some time soon before I forget again : S

Ooh, so are you originally from America? :0 Cool! I wish I would be able to move someplace outside of Finland someday too, but I would probably be too shy to be able to work or live alone someplace totally different from Finland: S

hahahaha! I totally didn't watch Tumbling tonight like I thought I would, but I definitely did bookmark it, so it's only a matter of time! I actually ended up drawing stuff tonight instead of lazing around and doing nothing.

Yup! I'm originally from Hawaii. Awww. You should totally try it sometime. I've totally fallen in love with Japan. It's so nice here.

DaijinMinister In reply to chiyokins [2012-01-28 18:11:54 +0000 UTC]

Oh cool *w* I'm not rushing you to watch it right now, but I'm happy to hear you've at least book marked it so far <3 And good to hear you've been drawing too! <3

Hawaii? That's awesome! : 0 Hawaii always resembles me of those hula girls and coconuts XD Have you studied Japanese before you went to Japan, or do you study the language there? : 0 I'm just curious since I can't really speak any other foreign language than English (at least not fluently), and I'm quite worried that if I ever would move abroad, I would have to move to a place where I can get by with English language : S

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

chiyokins In reply to DaijinMinister [2012-01-29 02:37:41 +0000 UTC]

HAHAHA. A lot of people think that about Hawaii. Oh, and surfing. Lots of surfing.

I actually studied Japanese in college for three years before going to Japan. I went to Japan with the intent of becoming more fluent in Japanese and I have to admit that my conversation skills have leveled up greatly since I've come here... but my ability to read and write have gone down. Well, I probably am able to read more now than I used to, but the sheer fact that I've forgotten most of my kanji has really gotten me down. That's why I bought a drill book for 2nd grade elementary school kids to practice. I'm working from the bottom up. I already finished 1st grade. XD

It's amazing how many asian countries stress learning another language. English is now the go-to language, so practically anywhere you go there's bound to be someone who speaks English. Like I said before, even if they don't understand you, you could always gesture and point and you're bound to get help. If you go to Japan, the signs at the train stations are written in Japanese, Chinese, Korean and English. Well, at least for the big city areas. I haven't gone to a really rural village-type area, so I'm not sure about that. If you know even a little bit of a language, like "where is the bathroom?' and 'how much is this?', I think you should give traveling a shot. For me, I knew how to speak Japanese pretty well, so I chose to go to Japan.

Heck, if you had enough money to make the initial trip here, you could always come to Japan and work as an English teacher at the company I work for. XD

DaijinMinister In reply to chiyokins [2012-01-29 08:31:14 +0000 UTC]

Oh yeah I forgot all about the surfing! xDD

Ooh I understand the struggle with all the kanjis : S I studied Japanese for a couple of years when I was a kid, and the kanji's were reeeaaallly a pain in the ass sometimes xDD
But you have the right environment and books to study them, so I wish you good luck! *w* I'm sure that with a lot of studying you will ace them sooner or later~

Hmm I know those little phrases like asking for the bathroom and stuff like that somehow. It's been quite a while since I studied the language so I've forgotten most of it, but I think it's easy to remember them with a little studying *w* And gestures will never fail. Almost never. : S Though I've heard that most Japanese people don't really like tourists. At least not in those big city areas.

Ooooh I keep that in mind XDDD My wish is to visit Japan at least sometime since I want to visit that Final Fantasy museum they have! I don't know how much you know about the series BUT THEY HAVE A LIFE-SIZED SEPHIROTH ON THEIR FLOOR! so I've heard at least.. If I ever manage to travel to Japan, I will hire you as a guide since you know the language and the area probably better than me XDDD

chiyokins In reply to DaijinMinister [2012-02-15 08:01:53 +0000 UTC]

My friend has a bunch of Japanese books and sometimes we'll sit at the counter and I'll try reading from it and he'll read off the kanji I don't know. I usually give up after a couple sentences because all his books are really complicated. @_@

Knowing how to ask "Where is the bathroom?" is REALLY important. lol. I think that should be one of the first phrases you learn when you go to a new country. hahahaha. In Tokyo the young people really like tourists. The more non-Japanese you look, the more popular you are. At least, that's how it seems. Foreigners tend to get stared at a lot. I get stared at, but it's not so bad now. Maybe it's because I wear more Japanese clothes now. hahaha.

They have a MUSEUM?! Why didn't I already know that?! I'd love to go! If you get to come, we are SO going together. I'd love to be your guide.

Hmm yes, they have a museum *w* That was the main reason I was going to come to Japan a year ago.
So if I ever come to Japan we'll definately go there! <3 And you can be my guide escorting me from place to place seeing cool sights and temples and such >: D I'm so lame I want to see all the cool temples and gardens and stuff like that...
