I think you did a great job in drawing the background. I can feel two different atmosphere by the color, the detail and everything which is really impressive to me. I have seen some of your waiting-for-you series (maybe? They are all in a series right? Correct me if Im wrong), I think this one has the best concept. Overall, this is a good picture, but there is something I think you should do to make it better.
1. I think the two girls, main characters is not standing out enough. The shade makes them blend (too much) to the background. I think just a little bit brighter or some small detail to seperate them from the background would make it more brilliant.
2. I think the shading of the left girl is really good, but the right one, I think you kinda rush (maybe, Im sorry if Im wrong), her sleeves is not really cloth-like. And I dont think the wind can do something like that. Her back hair is not effected by that strong wind either.
3. The tree that seperate the two scene is a little awkward (I think). It makes the background look kinda not-fit the character, I suggest making it bigger so it will look like two girls waiting on two halves of the tree, or make some-soft shade seperate them instead of a tree!
