another headshot i did of another character, this time its Roxy aka Freefall.Done with graphite pencils then inked with micron pens.

That's a good Roxy. I wonder if Gen 13 still exists. I've got like, the frist 10 issues of it. Really liked it when Jeff Campbell was doing the book - of course it was his baby. Then he got sick or something for a long time. He had a groundbreaking style when it debuted. And when other people took over for him I kind of lost interest, then eventually stopped collecting altogether. Sometimes I still wonder what's going on with the really good series though.

Gen 13 does still exist. About 2 years ago it was done by artist Ale Garza but currently its done by Talent Caldwell (from spen comics). heres a link [link]
I'd like to see campbell do like a reunion book or something of his older works.

i think talent caldwell is doing some of the art. he is a good artist but campbell would have done an incredible job but it would take 3 months for a book.

nah i was joking but he is pretty slow. DG was like 5 or 6 books and it took 2 1/2 years to come out.

no, it only had 5 issues. the series was just short. campbell works at a slow pace so that could have been an problem.

possibly... i heard it was pretty popular. after a while they started to attribute his credits to danger girl more than gen 13 i noticed.

the art in dg is really nice. I havent been paying any attention to his newer work.

yeah, what little i saw looked that way... i can see from your style you've adapted a bit of campbell's style... looks like a bit of ed benes too... but just my opinion... benes was probably influenced by campbell though. many artists have been in recent years i've noticed... either that or they're influenced by michael turner.

hmmm i can see the campbell ness in my work but my women are much bigger in size. most ladies campbell draw are short and thick, my are amzon warriors. lol benes worked on gen 13 after campbell so my guess is that he was influenced by him. i dont really like much of turner's work nowadays. loved him on witchblade but his batman and wonderwoman stuff just doesnt seem right.

i went to the comicbook store and i saw the campbell variant. i was going to buy it, then the guy at the counter said it was $20. I of course said hell no becuase it was labeled and the most i would pay was $10.
coloring it would be cool and fine by me. send me a note when your done with it. Also tell me if you like the new gen 13 series so then maybe I'll get it.

lol, i don't remember... i think it was like 13 bucks or somethin. anyway, i just picked up the regular cover issue today and read it. it's interesting to say the least... i think it's gonna take some getting use to since the story is like completely different. i read somewhere that they're like reborn or somethin and don't remember having powers. i don't know. anyway, it's different, it's present day with internet and all of that stuff... and none of them know each other... oh and burnout has dreds... i hope that is a temporary thing since some dudes kick his ass for havin them.
