Not even when it seems like your tears came down from the sky
The rain can't hide your hurt
Even when you feel like the cold dirt

My heart drums to a different beat than yours
I sometimes can talk to you for hours
No one sees my pain
I guess all these screams are in vain

Let me out
Tear me apart from what I doubt
Let me breathe
For I want to live and not fear what I believe

Take me apart from the inside out
Let me breathe
When all I do is moan and seethe

I cry and no one listens
I cry and my tear glistens
Screaming at the top of my lungs
Though everyone seems to have bought their own earplugs

Let me out

My cuts show my insecurity
Maybe I'll get better with a little brain surgery
Someone always takes away my pain
Sticking a needle deep in my vein

Love me for who I am
Not for what you see beneath the transparent trend
Color me gray
