Ridley Shea, the talented Dragon Pokemon trainer is back, and this time, he is a contestant. Ridley is joined by his childhood friend, Mizuki Umidora.

Ridley is a very kind person. He is witty, funny, and quirky. That said, he has been known to be a bit loud, which annoies some people. Despite being so young, he has been though many trials such as the passing of his mother at a young age, and his first encounter with the vile Team Rocket. These ordeals have made him wise, deep, and philosophical, however, it also causes him to over think things. He is a very adamant person, which can get him in trouble sometimes. He loves to challenge himself, usually through physical challenges such as; climbing trees, meditating under waterfalls, even going head to head with his Charizard. He wears an amulet around his neck that belonged to his mother. His goal is to be the world's greatest Dragon Pokemon Trainer! He has a scar on his forehead that he got from a Rocket Agent named Sting. He is a skilled trainer able to think quickly on his feet. Ridley keeps calm in almost any situation. Even with the odds against him, he stays cool and calm, planning every single move out and executing his plans with great efficiency.

Story:

Ridley was born to a middle class family in Pallet Town. His parents called him their "Little Prince". A year later, Ridley's little brother Brian was born. For a time, life was great. Ridley, his little brother, his mother and father lived a happy, carefree life. But like most stories, tragedy was around the corner. When Ridley was three, his mother was struck with a horrible illness. Ridley watched helplessly as the illness ravaged her body, making her weaker and weaker, until she could no longer stand. Despite lasting longer than the doctors predicted, she eventually succumb to the illness, passing way as Ridley watched helplessly. Her last words to her son where: "My sweet prince. Go out into this world and make lots of friends. That way, you will never be alone." For six months, Ridley didn't talk much, and it seemed that nothing would cheer him up. One day, his father showed him a picture of his mother, surrounded by all of her friends. Ridley then remembered what his mother said to him. This cheered Ridley and, and after that he started making many friends. A year later, he befriends a lonely young girl from Blackthorn, Mizuki Umidora. Along with his brother, they all became great friends. When he was six, Ridley became interested in Pokemon. Their was one type that Ridley liked in particular, Dragons. His mother loved Dragon Pokemon and would tell stories about them. She told him that Dragon Pokemon are strong Pokemon that are mysterious even to other Pokemon. After hearing the many wonderful thing about Pokemon, Ridley decided that he would become a Pokemon Trainer. When Ridley turned ten, he tried to get his father to let him become a trainer. At first he was against it, but seeing as Ridley was as stubborn as his mother, he eventually gave him permission. After getting a Charmander from Prof. Oak, he set off. After making it half way to Virdian City, he encountered two men trying to forcefully capture a wild Pokemon. Ridley attacked the men, who identified themselves as Team Rocket. Ridley tried to beat them, but he was no match. After the defeat, the grunts tried to take the Charmander, only be stopped by a large and powerful mystery Pokemon. It scared off the grunts and disappeared as quickly as it appeared. Ridley then rushed to the Virdian Pokemon Center to seek aid. It was then that Ridley vowed never to lose to Team Rocket again, and swore he would destroy them. However, after defeating Sting on the Ohana Islands, he has given up his crusade to destroy Team Rocket, but he won't hesitate to take out a Rocket if he sees one. Ridley has competed in many league challenges in different regions. Last year, he joined as a spectator in the Ohana Islands Battle Frontier. There, he met many kind and powerful Trainers. After Year One, Ridley returned to the Unova Region, a region he traveled to a couple of years ago, to find his old childhood friend Mizuki Umidora. When he visited her hometown of Blackthorn City four years ago, she confessed her love for him. For a while, he though she was teasing him. However, he has recently realized that she was serious, and has been trying to find her again. He had heard she was currently in the Unova Region. He spent six months searching, only to come up empty handed. While resting in a Pokemon Center, he sees an Ad for the Frontier Initiative. This time, he wasn't going to stay on the side lines, he was going to take part as well. But more importantly, Mizuki might be there as well. Many challenges await Ridley and his Pokemon, but he'll take them all on!

At the age of sixteen, Ridley joined Team Plasma because he was attracted to their false ideals of saving Pokemon from abuse. After a year, he discovered their true ideals and confronted them. He has scene left the organization and no longer supports them.
Ridley is terrified of Rayquaza.
Mizuki sees Ridley as a valiant champion who stands up for her and defends the weak. However, this claim annoys him and he responds to it by saying; "I'm no hero, I'm no champion of justice. I am me, end of story!"

Upon evolving, he became stronger, but he also became a lot wiser. Charizard is a proud, level headed Pokemon that thinks before he acts. Ridley's other Pokemon have great respect for him. Charizard is almost always seen by Ridley's side. Not because he hates his Poke Ball, but because he likes the fresh air. Ridley is so close to Charizard, that Ridley can understand him. Ridley's Charizard is taller than the average Charizard and stands at 6 feet, 11 inches. It goes without saying that Flamethrower is the move to look out for.

Info: This Aerodactyl was revived from an Old Amber that Ridley received from a man in Mt. Moon. It wasn't until he went to Viridian City to challenge the Gym Leader that he learned that the Old Amber could be revived at the Pewter City Museum. He took the amber to the scientists who successfully revived an Aerodactyl. Ridley had seen the full skeletal fossil of one before and wished he could meet one. So he was excited to get to know it... until she got scared and went on a rampage. Ridley was able to calm her down eventually. It was at that point where Ridley introduce her to the concept of "friendship". After Ridley explained the past few million years to her, he asked her if she wanted to see the new world with him. Aerodactyl agreed and joined Ridley to help him in his Pokemon League challenge. Scientists say that she was once a viscous hunter, now she uses those skills in battle. She is relentless and quick, dealing large amounts of damage in a short time. She is a very curious Pokemon, always fascinated by things we would consider mundane. She is quite tall, standing at 7 feet.

Info: She is kind and very docile outside of a battle. But in a battle, she becomes a ferocious fighter, devastating not only the opponent, but the battlefield as well. Garchomp has perfected Shadow Claw, and can use it in both claws at once. After Year One, Garchomp wanted to look beautiful, which clashed with Ridley wanting her to look like a ferocious predator. So to settle the argument, Ridley put eye shadow on her. Part of her tail fin was bitten off by a wild Pokemon. She has recently learned the move Hyper Beam and she is still trying to master it. Sometimes it works, other times it overloads and backfires. Ridley only has her use this move as a last resort.

During a cold Unova winter, he lost his way in a large snow storm. We'll searching for his home, be broke his leg from a fall. Near death, Ridley found him, cold and starving. Ridley helped him up and brought him to the Icirrus City Pokemon Center. Grateful for saving his life, Druddigon began traveling with Ridley. Despite being slower than Ridley's other Pokemon, Druddigon more than makes up for it with his raw power.

Info: While in Unova, Ridley received and egg from an old couple he helped outside of Nacrene City. It hatched into a very shy Deino. Over Ridley's journey, it became less shy and more outgoing. It shows great love towards Ridley. Like most Zweilous, their heads argue and compete with each other. One head has sort hair and is polite, while the other has long hair and is rude. Instead of eating contests, they do target practice. They take turns using Dragonbreath. The one head that hits the target, (a big rock usually) is the winner. The two almost never agree on anything. However, helping take care of Colleen is the one of the only thing they seem to agree on, next to battling. Zweilous is an amazing battler. Most people are caught off guard to see the two heads working together in a battle.
