Ok,so I read this show sucked but this robot KICKS ASS.
I see what they're getting at. I hope to see this robot get another crack SRW. Why not? Since recently,select robot shows like Daitarn 3 and Tryder G7 have not stories,they're just added in because why not?
It's a shame really since Tryder G7 and Daitarn does have stories. This one,I feel they can add in since Namco Bandai are pulling that practice. 'shrugs'

Outside of the opening, image and closing music in a Super Robot CD set I own, I know squat about Mechander Robo… why did it suck? Bad story or uninteresting?

Bad story telling, cardboard cutout character and animation that was so limited it not only looked like South Park style cutout animation but several epsiodes near the end of the run consisted nothing but stock footage because the studio making it and Bullmark-the toy company who funded and designed the robots and characters in it-went bankrupt mid production.
