A few drawings I did during a field trip to the VMFA. We went to see Chihuly!! His stuff is too sweet. After we saw his artwork, we were allowed to roam around the permanent exhibits for a few hours.

The purple sketches were two figure sculptures I just HAD to draw. I was drawn to them for some reason. I tried to leave the room they were in, thinking I could shake off the feeling, but I soon found myself running back in while trying to pull out my sketchbook and pencil and sitting down on the bench to draw. There was some art analysis group in the room at the same time, and I think they thought I was weird or something for drawing the figures? Idk, just let me do some arting, okay??? Geeze.

I would totally come back to draw more of the sculptures. The third floor has a very nice collection of both humans and a wide variety of animals to draw from.
