Description
So, i was bored yesterday and thought "hey, why not do something just for fun?" so i did this. it's the same reductive charcoal technique i was doing in school. i love charcoal so much, lol, and getting covered in it by the end of the piece.
so this is actually from a picture i found on google...god, im back in my old ways...here's the link to the original: [link]
and please, any critiques you have, i'd love to hear! i really tried to do the fur look as well, but it's not perfect yet. any tips are ALWAYS appreciated!

dam, you snapped on this. its really good, only thing i would say for critique is that you should build more depth in the background, maybe used some darker values and forms to suggest trees, or a sky or something

I've tryed using charcoal once and I found it really hard to work with.

try doing reductive charcoal! i'm OBSESSED with it! you cover the page with charcoal, and then wipeout the charcoal on the places you need to be lighter. then you can add detail after. it is SO easy to do, since you can mess up however much you need first!

you seem to be doing fine so far. and you're always improving! and definitely try it! you get COVERED in charcoal at first, lol, just as a warning
