I've been reading The Hobbit recently and its been filling my head with ideas for pieces of work. It's been great, Im finally feeling a bit inspired.
I've just past the chapter involving the path through Mirkwood Forest and I love the description of it. It's dark, dangerous and spooky, but when Bilbo climbs a tree and reaches the roof of the forest "His eyes were nearly blinded by the light... The sun was shining brilliantly, and it was a long time before he could bear it"

I did the forest at night though so I could add in the scary eyes
I've also become obsessed with purple and red because of a cake I made for my Mum's birthday!
