I'm not going to lie I absolutely am in love with Stanley Lau's work. On deviantART he's known as ArtGerm .

So I've been doing studies with his work and trying to emulate it. Right now I am just studying his technique with anatomy, I feel that my characters lack the same type of depth and fluidity that his have and I want to see how he does it. Please let me know if you see any errors with my copy vs. his.

Please note: I'm not stealing anything from Mr. Lau. This is a study technique called a "masters copy". Studying another artist is key to improving your own work it teaches an artist how a master got from point A to point B in the creation of a painting.
