Description Family
Trond Norman: “Uncle” and later Changeling boss. He was the one who refused to give her back to her birth parents after foiling their attempt to exchange her for a human child. He was one of the people to take care of her as she grew up, and when he was relocated to England, she chose to move with him. She lived with him until she was twenty, when she moved into Selene Manor. Although she never considered him her father (he was always very busy with work, and in Norway, she was raised by the changeling community as a whole) he has been the closest to a parent figure she has ever had, and she calls him “uncle”. Despite their special connection, they do not let it influence their work as changeling officers, and Trond has enough faith in her skills not to be over-protective.
Agatha: Agatha is a changeling lar who worked as Trond’s housekeeper/guard when he first became changeling leader in Surrey. She took care of Daisy and trained her to become both a perfect housewife and a skilled fighter. Daisy still looks up to her and considers her somewhat of a mother figure. Unlike Trond, Agatha is very warm and affectionate, and although she gives off the impression of being very domestic, she is a formidable fighter. Once Daisy became old enough to take care of herself, Agatha went back to being a changeling officer, but the two remain close.
Huldra parents: Daisy has never met them, and has no wish to. Understandable, as they attempted to exchange her for a human newborn because she was not “pretty enough”.

Friends
Cecil Hobbes-Easom: Human fiancé. He does not know what she is, and she spends a lot of time trying to keep her secret from him, fearing he would not love her if he found out. Although they are affectionate towards each other and she seems genuinely fond of him, much of their romance seems to be grounded in the fact that he can offer her a normality that her current life lacks, while she can offer him a picture-perfect housewife.
Melodie Banks: Close friend and changeling team-mate. They get on well because Melodie is more grounded and level-headed than the other girls (and most of the boys), and they share a streak of maternal protectiveness (although Daisy’s is far stronger). Like Amanda, Melodie tries to get Daisy to be more outgoing and push her own boundaries, although she is not usually as brutal about it as Amanda is.
Amanda Evelyn: Close friend and changeling team-mate. Although Daisy does not approve of some of Amanda’s more outrageous tendencies, the two are good friends, and Amanda often gives Daisy the push (or shove) she needs to go outside of her comfort zone. However, she also frustrates Daisy greatly.
Aisling Baines: Close friend and changeling team-mate. Aisling’s child-like behaviour strongly appeals to Daisy’s maternal instinct.
Dominic Harrell: Friend and changeling team-mate. They get along very well because they are both so protective of their housemates, and she approves of him taking charge of the group and reigning them in, while he appreciates her taking care of the domestic side of things and values her advice. She considers him the strongest of the housemates, and he is the only one she leans on, trusting him not to break under the weigth. However, she does not approve of his tendency to take personal risks, and he awakens her protective instinct more than any of the others.
Felix Mallory: Friend and changeling team-mate. She immediately accepted him into the fold when he first arrived, something he has never forgotten.
Alexander Ward: Friend and changeling team-mate. They get on well because they are both more mature and level-headed than most of their housemates, and he shares her fierce protectiveness.
Amadeus Evelyn: Friend and changeling team-mate. Like with his sister, Daisy often finds his behaviour outrageous and unacceptable, but she still loves and cares for him the same as all of the others. Unlike his sister, he has a certain respect for Daisy and her sensibilities, which he usually displays by not hitting on her as the twins do most others.
Christine “Aella” Harrell: Later changeling team-mate and friend. Although slightly put off by Aella’s complete lack of understanding when it comes to domestic matters, she quickly takes the girl under her wing and tries to help her understand the new world she has entered.
Ulrick Randall: Friend and landlord. She is very fond and protective of him, and is probably the main reason he is still alive, as he would entirely forget eating if she were not around.
