Description This is my first photomanipulation - well, I am still in the tutorial mode as I am new to this, plus learning to use photoshop too.

I hope I post this correctly... If not - someone please send a note to me please.

Well, thanks for the compliment, but it is a tutorial - took me forever to get it done the way I wanted, but I learned a lot from it! It was fun!

I'm doing the other one on that sight too - it is called Monotony Tutorial, but I cannot finish it - when I use the burn and dodge tool, and add the light beam, the light beam shows over exposed areas, I have tried everything I know to try to fix it, redid the shadows, did shadows on another layer with black and gaussian blur, etc, etc. but can't get it to work, made sure I did everything step by step and still doing it wrong. Oh well, I will do a different one.

Ye, I tried that, but I have to put the light beam layer on top for it to work properly. Maybe that is an old tutorial, as I have cs5, and I think they do the dodge and burn different. I did try it with the 50% gray clipping mask also, and it still had burn out. I will just move onto another tut - there is a lot of them.
