Ogel has Team Nexus, with the exception of Mindy, chained up in the arena, and unleashes his mutant dinosaurs to execute them. The heroes break free of their bonds and put up a brave fight, just as Alpha Team arrives to turn the tide. They have freed the captured residents, including Theo and Selena, who have also arrived to aid Harmona. Despite their best efforts, Paulie and Percy are killed in the fight, and Ogel has the rebels surrounded. Before he gives the order to finish them off, Team Nova, Yahdohcyzila, and Eezis arrive to save them. They defeat most of the mutant dinosaurs and drones and get the Alayssians and surviving prisoners away from the Fortress.

Koron offers to help Harmona take down Ogel to make up for his mistakes in leaving him, but the Fire Prince angrily refuses and charges into the fortress, full of rage and determination to redeem himself. As Harmona fights Ogel furiously, Koron decides to help anyway, but is confronted by the mutant Giganotosaurus. Both are soon overwhelmed; the mutant almost kills Koron, while Ogel shoots a poisoned arrow into Harmona's thigh. But then fate intervenes. Koron awakens his true power and uses it to defeat the mutant, who reverts back into a normal Giganotosaurus, whom Koron recognizes as Turok, a renowned war-hero. Turok thanks Koron for saving him and limps away, having lost his taste for war. Meanwhile, Ogel prepares to finish the badly beaten Harmona off once and for all, but he is attacked by Smart Ass, the leader of the Weasley Raptors, who survived the earlier betrayal. He is determined to avenge his brothers. Sadly, the cyborg overpowered the raptor and threw him into the orb machine, electrocuting him to death. This distraction gave Harmona an open window, and he sliced off his robotic arm and beats him severely. Though overcome with anger and hatred for the cyborg, Harmona ultimately chooses to spare him. Alpha Team finds Ogel is still alive but unconscious, and then Harmona collapses, struggling to breathe; the arrow that impaled him was armed with a powerful poison…
