Some time after the Genocide, Tianti the Star Dragon decides to give Decifinya a second chance in life and revives her as a dragon that hatches. She is adopted by an Allosaurus named Aroha, who has lost her own offspring to a jaguar. At first, Hau Kaha, Aroha's mate, is reluctant to accept the young dragon, but after convincing from the village leader, Kahcrek the Gigantopithecus, the two allosaurs decide to raise Ikarossaura as their own child. As Ikarossaura grows, she befriends another allosaur, Rafiki, and Navajo, an American lioness. Some time later, Kahcrek, a Gigantopithecus, is murdered by his rival, Umbusi, who takes over the village and severs contact with the outside world…
