Maybe itβs a highly evolved type of Platypus or a descendant of Steropodon that adapted for a totally aquatic lifestyle.

Itβs a Platypus Crocodile as it would be called in the Avatar universe.
Abaddon would be a Moth Wasp
Margygr would be a Salamander Shark
Tiamat would be a Squid Worm
Quetzalcoatl would be a Dragon Hornbill
Leviathan would be a Serpent Eel
Amhuluk would be a Lizard Toad
Kraken would be a Jellyfish Squid
Typhon would be a Lizard Bat
Baphomet would be a Goat Bat
Mokele Mbembe would be an Elephant Lizard
and Sekhmet would be a Centipede Lion.
