Episode 26-33

Madison and Anna find themselves in a cell in a Sixth Extinction base. Anna is trying to break through, ramming against the bars repeatedly in anger. She does it so much that it bruises her shoulder, prompting Madison to step in and pull her away, desperate to calm her down.

Madison: Anna, stop! *sign language* We can't get out. We're locked inside.
Anna: *sign language* They took Papa...
Madison: *sign language* I know. Don't worry, I'll protect you.

They hear footsteps and see Glenn walking into the scene, lighting a cigar. He chuckles as he examines them, grinning.

Glenn: Well well well. Spencer's daughter. I was expecting to capture your mother, but you will be ideal bait to lure her out.
Madison: Go to hell.
Glenn: And this must be Anna Sinclair. I'm actually impressed she has been alive all this time. You know, dear, I should thank you for assisting in the capture of Monster G. Something your father failed to do.
Madison: What are you talking about? Wait... Sinclair's disappearance was no accident...
Glenn: Of course not. He knew Monster G better than anyone. It sounded like such a fascinating superspecies, I had to get my hands on it. However, Derrick and Rebecca refused to reveal their secrets to me. So I left them a little parting gift.
Madison: A hidden bomb? In their camp? Now it all makes sense...
Glenn: All they had to do was provide the necessary information, but they denied me, and one way or another, I always get what I want.
Madison: You murdered this girl's parents!!
Glenn: They paid the price for their insolence. And soon, your mother will too. The age of man is over.

Enraged, Anna lunges at the bars, biting Glenn's hand. He shouts and kicks her hard, sending her back into Madison. He looks at his bloody hand and frowns.

Glenn: Tamlyn! Watch the prisoners. Roach, send the Megafauna out once Monster G is fitted with a mind control device like the others.

The terrorists leave, but Tamlyn stays behind. Madison places her hand on Anna's shoulder, but she jerks away and crawls to the corner, sobbing. Meanwhile, two Sixth Extinction soldiers are tracking the evolved Barubaroi. They manage to shoot a mind control chip into its brain. After a slight struggle, they manage to get it under control.

Terrorist: We got it, boss. We're bringing Barubaroi in now.

They hear a sound. Roxy suddenly grabs one of the men and throws him overboard, and she kicks the other in the groin, making him drop the device, which she catches. She then throws him off the boat too.

Roxy: Don't worry, boys. You're not on the top of my death list. But you are, Jablonsky... Let's get you beefed up, big boy.

She activates the device and has Barubaroi follow her. It devours the men in the process.

Elsewhere, the DRF is preparing to deal with the escalating situation. They see the Sixth Extinction has prepared to unleash four captured Megafauna, all retrofitted with mind-control chips.

Nicole: They've captured Baphomet.
Hayes: And Camazotz too.
Teresa: Oh no, they've got Kiko! He doesn't deserve this!
Nicole: Look. They have Goliath too.
Mikaela: Well, we're fucked.
Alex: We're not going down without a fight. Kimberly and I will go with Group Alpha to follow Baphomet. Mikaela, you and Nicole are with Group Beta, follow Goliath. Dakota, go with Group Charlie and take care of Camazotz. Teresa, Group Delta, retake Kiko. Hayes, Group Echo. Find this new Godzilla we've been hearing about, and Barubaroi if you can.

They all split up into their respective groups. Alex and Kimberly track Baphomet to San Francisco, where the AMO is attacking a new Megafauna species, a six-legged crocodile-like beast. Alex and Kimberly are surprised to see this creature.

Alex: That's Rokmutul. An aetosaur relative.
Kimberly: It looks like the Sixth Extinction wants to wrestle it from the Anti-Megafauna Organization.
Alex: Well, they'd better have room for one more, because we're capturing both of them and sending them back.

Alex and Kimberly lead the assault as the controlled Baphomet lashes out at Rokmutul, who puts up a considerable defense. Its tough hide repels the AMO's weaponry and Baphomet's talons. The beast burrows underground, then drags Baphomet down, and they continue to wrestle violently. Rokmutul unleashes a fire breath that burns Baphomet's wings, affecting his flight and making him crash. Rokmutul pins Baphomet to the ground, then bites him in the throat, tearing a huge chunk of flesh out, before it starts feeding on the carcass. The battle between Alex's squad, the Sixth Extinction, and the Anti-Megafauna Organization boils down into absolute chaos. There are heavy losses on all three sides. Eventually, Alex and Kimberly are both shot; Kimberly in the stomach and Alex in the leg. He limps as he gets her to a safe place, but she is bleeding out. He tries to help but finds an exit wound.

Kimberly: Alex... I'm not going to make it.
Alex: Yes we are! Come on, Kim!

He soon falls down with her, also bleeding. They hear incoming soldiers from both terrorist factions, and there is no way out. Alex makes a call to the DRF. Among those listening are the Spencers and Dakota, who are shocked to see the Walmsleys' state.

Alex: Calling all DRF units... Rokmutul has left the scene and Baphomet is neutralized, but my wife and I have been shot. We're not going to make it. Mikaela, it's up to you to stop the Sixth Extinction and the Anti-Megafauna Organization now... Dakota, you were the best thing that happened to me and your mother... we love you, son. We always have... This is Alex Walmsley signing off... Goodbye...

Alex ends the call. Seeing that Kimberly has succumbed to her wounds, and the terrorists closing in, Alex pulls out a grenade and pulls the pin, holding the grenade up in the air. It detonates, killing everyone caught in the blast. Elsewhere, the teams have seen the call and their readings flatlining. Dakota falls to his knees in shock and confusion, and he breaks down into tears. Mikaela is also shocked, prompting Nicole to hug her.

Mikaela: They're gone...
Nicole: We have to keep moving.
Mikaela: I don't know if I can do this, Nicole. I'm supposed to be a biologist, not a commander.
Nicole: Someone has to do this, Mikaela. If not us, then who?! I can help you. We're almost at Goliath's position.

From his ship, Glenn sees them incoming on the radar, and he chuckles.

Glenn: Mikaela Spencer... come to me...
