Frankenstein was the result of experiment gone wrong; a German scientist attempted to bring a corpse back to life with regenerative abilities. It worked, but the creature escaped. Frankenstein later returned to save the city from several mutant rats, but it was later destroyed, only to come back to life as Gaira and Sanda.

Cameo appearance: Flashback in "Beginning of the End" when we see miscellaneous kaiju attacking major population centers.

-Remarkably strong, able to lift a good 230 tons with ease
-Can regenerate lost limbs and heal wounds
-Despite mutation, is quite intelligent, and capable of limited speech
-Vulnerable to artillery fire, though heart is apparently indestructible
