Son of Kong: Land of the Small

Episode 3

The team arrives on Lua Island, and find something unusual about the Megafauna there; most are the same as what was documented on Skull Island, only smaller. They also encounter previously unknown lifeforms from the peaceful Sker Buffalo to the lethal Mother Longlegs. While Justin and Brenda set up camp, Tim, Russell, and Jane go out to find the Little Kong.

Many other animals are discovered, such as the giant Mire Squid, the flying Leafwings and Psychovultures, the deceptive Spore Mantis, the cannibalistic Death Jackals, the bizarre Swamp Locust, Sirenjaw, and Magma Turtle. But they also see familiar faces, like Gorosaurus, Ookondoru, and Skullcrawlers, all smaller versions of themselves. The only animal that hasn't changed in size is the Deathrunner, which is the top predator of the island. Fortunately, there is no Gaw.

Tim eventually finds the Little Kong, who has white fur and is a third the size of King Kong. Surprisingly, the beast is not as aggressive as his counterpart, leaving Tim to wonder if the small creature is perhaps a forgotten son of Kong. But upon this discovery, the encounter escalates, resulting in a mercenary shooting Little Kong with a maser rifle and Russell tranquilizing Tim. The mercenaries take Jane so she can treat Little Kong's injury....
