Full Summary:
Cale and his friends are in San Francisco trying to extract the AllSpark out of the city when the Decepticons arrive to attack. Fortunately, the Autobots arrive and a vicious fight erupts. Decepticons Blackout, Brawl, Bonecrusher, and Skyquake are killed. Megatron kills Cliffjumper by ripping his head and spine off. Scorponok is captured by Hammond's soldiers for study.
Optimus Prime and Megatron fight for the city's freedom, and Megatron has the advantage. Hammond calls the air force to attack the Cons, but Starscream takes on them before he is shot down and forced to fly into space. Cale then uses the AllSpark to overpower Megatron and send him crashing into the moon. Optimus thanks his human friends and fellow Autobots, and they honor Cliffjumper's brave sacrifice. Cale and Alissa date again to celebrate, and Optimus watches over them as he sends a signal to call in any surviving Autobots out there...

That much is actually true, Megatron did infect Cybertron's core with Dark Energon, so he can rule Cybertron, of course he didn't know it cause Cybertron's core to shutdown, and yet he blames it on Optimus, saying that its his fault Cybertron is dying, but its his own undoing.
