Description Daizua Neo: The Last Chronicle (Non-Canon)

Episode 3

----------

Flashback, 100,000 years ago.  After establishing a new city on Alayssia, the Gyradans have lived a peaceful life with content.  There were setbacks though.  Without a lot of their technology, their numbers were limited, as were their skills.  Earthquakes also occasionally shook the island.  Luckily, the Gyradan King had anticipated this particular problem, so he used a lot of the technology to create a massive machine in the event that the island is threatened.  And a good thing, because around that time, Alayssia's routine earthquakes intensified, with disastrous consequences.  The quakes began to erode the island, causing it to sink.  This forced animals to come together, and predators were packed into much smaller territory, with a large reduction in available food biomass.  Competition rises fiercely as the ecosystem falls apart.  The carnivores naturally looked to a new food supply: the Gyradans.  And the retiloids' only protection failed, as the earthquakes, volcanoes, and tsunamis continued to destroy their wall.  The lucky survivors retreated, ready to go ahead with the King's contingency plan.  They had harvested what they could of their batteries: colorful gems that held the elements themselves.  They were planted into the machine.  The Gyradan King then unlocks the Heart's power, as it had chosen him for this moment.  The energy feeds the machine, which then fires a special kind of tether to keep the island from sinking, immediately ceasing the natural disasters plaguing it.  The plan worked, but their city was lost, and they are forced to endure the remainder of their existence underground.  Eventually, the King would have a vision, where the machine fails, and the disaster resumes.  He also sees that a group of people, including an eventual Immortal, would aid in repairing the machine.  The King sees even further, and he sees an alien race bringing a terrible god to the land, and a demigod would rise to stop them.  He knew then that this was the way for the future to be preserved, so he hid the Heart of Magic away, and would keep it there until the time was right.  Soon, the once proud race would slowly die out, with only one remaining.  History became legend, legend became myth.  And for the next 100,000 years, the Gyradans passed out of any and all knowledge.  The metallic ruins of the city would be noticed by the gods that lived above the island, and they would be salvaged for a new kind of purpose...

----------

Present day.  In their chamber, Yahdohcyzila and Eezis are placing two peculiar containers of divine metal and stone out, ready to launch them.  Daizua then arrives to greet them, and his presence puts a warm smile on Yahdoh's face.

Daizua: Yahdohcyzila, Eezis.
Eezis: Well, I'll be damned.
Yahdohcyzila: It's wonderful to see you again, Daizua.
Daizua: Likewise.  What's in those containers?
Yahdohcyzila: A good question... for another time.
Eezis: So what can we do for you?
Daizua: I was hoping you could tell me what this is.

He brings out the metal piece he found earlier.  The angel and demon look at it curiously, and they take notice of the strange language written across it.

Eezis: I know this.  That's the language of the Primordials.
Daizua: Primordials?  What are those?
Yahdohcyzila: According to myth, an ancient race that lived here on Alayssia long ago, before you, the Felos... before even the Titans.
Eezis: I always thought they were a myth though and not real.
Daizua: I see.  Is there anything else about them?
Eezis: That's all we know, kid.  We were born after the First Tartarus War, so we don't recall seeing them.
Daizua: We'll have to look into them.
Yahdohcyzila: No, Daizua.  You will have to.
Daizua: What do you mean?
Yahdohcyzila: Our time on Earth has ended.  Mother is calling us back to the Immortal Kingdom.  Our purpose has been served.
Eezis: As much as we enjoyed our stay here, we have to go back.
Daizua: I... I don't know what to say...
Yahdohcyzila: We will meet again, when you complete your training to become the Great Spirit.
Daizua: You know about that?
Eezis: Your gramps told us.
Yahdohcyzila: You are my friend, Daizua.  You always will be, but you must now complete the rest of your journey on your own.
Eezis: Nice knowing ya, kid.
Daizua: I can't thank you enough for what you've done.  Farewell.

Daizua sheds a tear, and he hugs them both.  They then spread their wings and fly up into the heavens.  The containers they set up then launch into the sky as well, but in separate directions.  After a brief moment of silence, Daizua continues his search with his newfound information.  In the archives, he is waiting for assistance when an archivist arrives to greet him.

Archivist: Did you call for assistance?
Daizua: Yes, ma'am.
Archivist: Are you having a problem, Lord Daizua?
Daizua: I'm looking for a race called the Primordials.  They don't show up in the Archives.
Archivist: Primordials... I don't recall such a race.  Are you certain you have the right information?
Daizua: I recently consulted the Daughters of Meha.  They're supposed to be older than the Titans.

The archivist continues the search on the computer with more explicit detail, but nothing appears to be shown at all.  The archivist sighs.

Archivist: I hate to say this, but it looks like the beings you're looking for doesn't exist.
Daizua: Impossible.  Maybe the history of ancient Alayssia is incomplete.
Archivist: If an item does not appear on our records, it does not exist.

Unconvinced, Daizua sighs and leaves.  With only one option left, he makes for the Spiny Mountains, where King Zrago is educating some of his hatchlings on aerial hunting.  The Titans see Daizua arrive, and they bow to each other in respect.

Titanlings: Hello, Lord Daizua.
Daizua: Good day.  I'm sorry to interrupt, King Zrago, but I need your help.
Zrago: Certainly.  What can I do for you, old friend?
Daizua: I'm looking for a race described to me by Yahdohcyzila and Eezis.  I trust them, but this race doesn't show up in the archives.  They're called the Primordials.
Zrago: Primordials... ah, I remember Zilver speaking of them when I was a Titanling.  He knew them from stories of his father.  From what I remember, they ruled long before us, until a great earthquake forced them underground.
Daizua: Is there a way to possibly find them if they're underground.
Zrago: The great passageway to the Underworld, where you ended the war.  There is rumor of a hidden passage.
Daizua: Mt. Caarano.
Zrago: Yes.  Unusual for them to be brought up at a time like this.
Daizua: I know.  The earthquakes are intensifying each day, I'm put under a training course that I am still trying to understand. Yahdohcyzila and Eezis return to the Immortal Kingdom, and now there is a possible return of these Primordials, whoever they are.  I will get to the bottom of this as soon as I can.

While this is going on, Jinn and company are going hiking to one of their old camping sites.  On the way, they are greeted by four Felos.  Wafit, a female with blonde hair, brown eyes, brown clothes, and patterns like a pumapard; Flass, another female with black hair, gray-blue eyes, gray and purple clothes, and patterns like a snow leopard; Polectus, a male with gray hair, light blue eyes, brown-tan armor, patterns like a tiger, and a white tail that appears to be mostly missing; and Sygrund, another male with shaved black hair, brown eyes, green clothes, ear piercings, and patterns like a king cheetah.

Jinn: Sorry we're late.
Wafit: Better late than never, Jinn.
Jinn: Guys, this is Wafit, Flass, Polectus, and Sygrund.
Flass: Pleasure to meet you all.
Bard: What happened to your tail?
Polectus: It was bitten off by a Claw-Stalker.
Sygrund: What are you waiting for?  Let's get to that bloody lake.

They travel along the trail.  Halfway through their journey, however, they notice a big fence with a "no trespassing" sign on it.  Last time they hiked, it wasn't sealed off like that.

Akagi: What's this?
Nidojei: That wasn't there before.
Collin: Why would it be closed off?
Jinn: Only one way to find out.

Jinn starts climbing the fence, though the others are hesitant.  But when Nidojei starts to climb, the rest follow them.  The Felos climb the trees to get a good view of the horizon to see if anything is out there.

Flass: It's gone!
Dale: What do you mean it's gone?
Polectus: There was an entire lake there last time.

Jinn and the others get out of the trees and see the valley.  There is no lake, just a a dried puddle with strange bubbles popping on the surface.  They creep up for a closer look, but Sygrund signals them to stop.  He smells the air and hisses.

Sygrund: We must leave, this place is not safe.
Rattles: Not safe?

They then look and see a Quattuorceratops approaching the dead lake.  They back up, knowing this dinosaur is dangerous, despite being an herbivore.  As they watch, the ceratopsian suddenly starts to feel a little dizzy.  It lets out choking grunts before collapsing to the ground.  All movement from it has completele ceased.  The sight of this frightens the gang, and they turn to leave, but they are surrounded by Neo Guardians before they can.  They raise their hands up and surrender.

Guardian: You kids are in a restricted area.  We need you to come with us.
Jinn: Alright.

They are put into vehicles, which drive up to Calvin's research facility near Mt. Caarano.  Inside the facility, they are analyzing some ancient rocks they dug up from around the island.

Calvin: This rock is about the same age as when Laurasia and Gondwana broke apart.  Alayssia must have split up from Gondwana millions of years later.
Adrian: We've also been monitoring the area around Mt. Caarano nearby.  There's been unusual activity in the Earth's crust.  Temperature is rising rapidly.
Guardian: Dr. Klawansky, we've arrested some tresspassers in the quarantine zone.
Calvin: I'll take care of it.  Adrian, send this information to Dad so we can try and cross-reference the data.

Calvin goes outside to greet Jinn and her group.  He signals the Guardians to let him handle the situation, and they leave.

Jinn: What's going on?
Calvin: We're geologists.
Bard: You guys go digging with Neo Gauntlets?
Nidojei: What happened to the lake?
Calvin: That's what we're trying to figure out.  The low-lying areas appear to have become toxic with hydrogen sulfide.
Wafit: What's hydrogen sulfide?
Calvin: It's a highly toxic gas released from deep underground by volcanic activity.  It collects invisibly in low-lying areas, like the lake's natural basin.  This gas paralyzes your lungs, then kills via suffocation.
Mena: So that's what happened to that dinosaur.
Calvin: You kids got lucky.  Any closer to that death trap, and you would have been next.
Jinn: Wait, I know you.  You've been working a lot with my parents lately, haven't you?
Calvin: I am.  You must be Jinn.  I'm Calvin Klawansky.
Jinn: Hey, we're sorry we broke in.
Calvin: No, we're glad you are safe.  Captain, escort them to a safer part of the camping site.
Jinn: You won't tell Dad I snuck in, right?
Calvin: Not a word.

As they leave, everyone sees Scarflame flying straight for Mt. Caarano.  They all knew that when a Dragon Shifter is out and about, then it's a serious issue, especially if they are in dragon form.  Scarflame lands by an open passage in the dormant volcano and turns back into Daizua.  As he walks through the chamber, he sees petrified remains of the old Mutations, a result of the smaller eruption set off by his battle with The God-King all those years ago.

Daizua: I haven't been here for so long.

As Daizua treks along, he encounters a cave megaconda.  It hisses, opening its frill, but Daizua conjures a fireball and swings his burning fist to scare it away.  It is then that he sees the mysterious gateway that Zrago mentioned.  Daizua goes inside and walks down unusual metal stairs.  Deeper and deeper he goes, until he sees a volcanic chamber, accompanied by strange metal objects, including what appeares to be a gigantic machine that has sustained heavy damage and decay.  He had never seen anything like this.  This kind of tech made even his ancestors from his Golden Era glory days look primitive.  As he looks around in awe, a mysterious voice calls out to him, sounding like an echoing mix of a man and woman talking at the same time.

Voice: At long last.  I have been waiting for you, Daizua.
Daizua: Who said that?
Voice: Come up to the top of the stairs.  We have much to discuss.

Daizua warily climbs the stairs that leads to the base of the machine.  When he reaches the top, he sees a large reptilian creature.  It has green scales, a lighter underbelly, and a long purple crest running its head to the back.  Its neck, limbs, and tail are extremely long.  It appears to walk on its knuckles on both hands and feet, a fan spreads the tip of the tail, along with a few quills.  It has a crooked jaw with a slight underbite, as well as what looks like a small beard at the tip of the jaw.  Yellow eyes gazed on him, with horizontal-shaped pupils.  It easily towered over Daizua, who readied fireballs in case of hostility.

Daizua: You're a Primordial?
Grievodarkha: So that is what your kin call us.  I am Grievodarkha, the Grand King of the Gyradans.
Daizua: Gyradans... are there more of you?
Grievodarkha: There were once many of my kind... but now, I am the last.  And when I die, my race will become extinct.  I am content with that, as I have wronged many times.  But I won't let your people die.
Daizua: I don't understand?
Grievodarkha: The land you now call home is on the verge of death... but there is a way to stop it.  And according to a prophecy, you are one of those foretold to do so.  Lower your powers.  I only seek to help.

Warily, Daizua powers down, and he sits down on a nearby rock.

Daizua: I'm listening.

I see, I think its interesting. It kinda reminds me of how Megalania ruled Australia before Humans arrived. It may not be a direct comparison but that's what it made me think about

Yep, before everything is gone and to become a forgotten memory...

Even though there is chance to rebuild, it's never going to be the same...
