Ahh it's a Cone!! A very good, Cone, too; I have something of a preference for some of the earlier styles of the series (it's been going for so long, it's changed so much, my goodness!! one can hardly recognize it anymore...), and this reminds me of the early look of the anime very much. Makes me happy, huhu.

I think I get ya; he's too angular! Too pointy!! And his eyes are too small, and spaced too far apart... his proportions are all wrong; his hands and feet became tiny, while his head got entirely too big... He looks like an alien, honestly. Or some kind of deformed chibi version of Shinichi, instead of a child version of him (granted, he kind of started out looking like a chibi, too; but at least he was cuter back then, and his proportions improved over time)...

I looked up some gifs of the show last night (just because), and wow, I just noticed how very different the early manga and early anime are, compared to one another. I suppose at least now the discrepancies between comic and show are fewer (near as I can tell), but... still...

Manga/comic and animated shows are almost always different, and sometimes just awful. I don't know, they should draw better, put more effort, is their job after all

Different teams of people, doing whatever way is easiest, etc., etc. I do like how some of the early anime looks, as well as the manga, even if they are different. Although, some of that animation is janky as heck, boy howdy...

Lo hice con los filtros del photoshop, donde dice textura o sino también agrego granulado/ruido :'D (Depende también qué tela quieras simular)
