Shop til you drop. I was in that mall once, I think, it's in the street with a roof isn't it? Or maybe it even didn't exist back in 1982ish, but the street with a roof did! There were also tons of blueberries everywhere in and around Gothenborg. And lots of huge jellyfish in the water. And cozy islands everywhere, which one could buy if one were a millionaire. We took the Tor Brittannia from there, back to NL. At night we saw fluorescent critters in the bow wave, which was pretty cool. How many Gothen are there exactly in Gothenborg? And are they Eastgothen or Westgothen, or both?

I've been to Gothenborg, or Göteborg, every summer for the last 20 years... never seen any blueberries though

Counting all eastend boys and westend girls from north to south, there are just short of a million Gothens...

You should go to the seaside, that's where the blueberries are. Or were, at least. Maybe they have been stolen.

Va' kul! Jeg liker meg veldig godt i Nordstan. Har vært i Gøteborg hver sommer de siste femten årene. Lunchbuffé på warehouse er en sikker vinner!

how do you make photos transparent for layering? the only way I know is to erase whatever I do not want on a transparent layer. that's a lot of work.

Here, for this effect, I've used whole ( remebered the 'w' pictures in wanted sizes, then blended them in different blendingmodes in PS. So they are not transparent, but I use PS to let part of the pictures beneath shine through. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. This time the result was as I imagined it would be. I allso use masking layers, but that takes much more time, and gives other effects.

I donotunderstand but I will try it! I defintitely don't know masking layers. What do you mean 'use PS to let part of the pictures beneath shinw through'?

You are very sweet to explain!

That's what blending modes do. Let some of the colors of the bottom layer through the blended one, so that the result is a combination of the two. I have not used PS long enough to know exactly what the result will be each time, but I have lots of fun trying out different pictures and blendingmodes.

Masking layers gives you the control of 'erazing' parts of the layer, but with the possibility to regret later. You mask the parts of the layer that you don't want to show. If that makes any sense?
