Leah was annoying. Really annoying. She was almost like a sister to me, sharing my mothers milk with Kale. I felt sorry for her - her mother died in childbirth, and my father was not long dead either. I think I felt a connection, therefore I tried to be patient. But it was hard. Now she is brave and confident, and the type of mare I admire above all else.
