Despite this time period being rather bias towards men, Rhea stands strong amongst them. She is rarely feminine, with her chest puffed proudly and her eyes firm. She is brave, courageous, loud, and demands your respect. Despite her small size and gender, Rhea has a strong aura.

She might be a little on the butch in spirit, but Rhea is pro-female all the way. Her Master is the Goddess of woman and children, child birth, and female warriors. She is all for putting a sword in a girls hand, and so, she despises any mare who acts weak or 'womanly'. Stallions? You better not talk down to this pint size spitfire.

Above it all she is Loyal. To females, to animals, to Olympus, to her herd, and to her Goddess Artemis. It drives her to do right and to please her mistress. Very few things rank higher to Rhea than an individuals loyalty. It doesn't help the Underworlders much... They turned their backs on the Olympians, and so Rhea has a particular hatred for them.

Of course she can fly - she's a huntress' steed after all. Nimble feet and agile wings make her as swift as a Swallow. But her mind is just as quick! Clever, sharp, and always on the ball.

We all have flaws, and Rhea's is stubborness. Too proud to admit defeat, flaw, or failure, she is always pushing harder and harder. She demands respect, and expects perfection. She is perfection. And all those around her should be more like her. Strong, loyal, and bold!

History:
Rhea is Artemis' second steed. The first died in the great war between the Old and the Young Gods 700 years ago. When Rhea was bound to Artemis, chosen especially for her size and agility and gender, she was ecstatic, and would grow to worship Artemis above any other god.

However, until that war, Rhea had lived a peaceful life. Now she was wounded close to death day after day, only to heal and be thrown back into the fire. It hardened her, toughened her, until she became the formidable opponent she is today.

You might say, however, that she is too driven. Something clearly pushes Rhea into hating the Underworlder's, but she will never say what it is. "Disloyal scum" is her excuse, but the truth is far more tender.

Rhea had a mate. Another mare, called Diana, whom she loved more than anything. The fire in her heart burned for this mare, and the pair were together for 500 years. But then, one terrible day, her mate's God was banished to the Underworld. Diana would follow her God, loyal to him, but leave Rhea behind. Only a decade later, Diana would die by the hands of Zeus. The betrayal and pain corroded Rhea's heart, and now she uses that fury to maim and kill all Underworlder's who cross her path.

Additional Info:
Rhea is an Armoured Pegasi - a breed developed by myself. This means her armour/weapons are welded to her flesh and bones, and her skeleton is made of metal. In her case, Brass. Her wing blades are attached to her wing bone, making them an extension of her 'arm'. Her facial armor in welded to her skull, the foreleg armor and blades are attached to her 'shin', and the hoof spurs as welded to her hooves.
