you do know that this lady who had a pack of wolfdogs as pets .... mauled her and ate her. right? so why would you support wolf dogs if they're more dangerous than wolves since the dog part of them takes their fear of humans out of them? that's just... dumb thinking.
i just really hope you dont mean you support wolf dogs as pets... that's really dangerous.

Please don't make assumptions. I am very much against keeping any wild animal as a "pet" as well as the breeding of hybrids, and I'm not really sure what part of this stamp made it seem like I was advocating wolfdog ownership.
Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary is exactly that, a sanctuary that takes in captive-bred wolves and wolfdogs and allows them to live out their lives in peace. Β They do not condone breeding or keeping these animals as pets, and their main goal is to educate the public.

I agree, I hate how people think wolves or wolf hybrids make great pets. They are still dangerous.

It's not completely true that all wolf dogs are bad! My cousins have a wolf dog who's calm and sweet! He is pretty low content, but still! I don't mean that everyone should have wolf-dogs as pets, or that the people with the wild wolf dogs as pets are doing the right thing in keeping them, I just want to point out that not all wolf dogs are completely meant for the wild.

Yes, it's so sad how that happens. And I do realize that even the sweetest wolf dogs still have the wolf in them and could possibly pose a threat to the safety of the family. The wolf dog that my cousins have tends to jump the fence at their house and eat the neighborhood cats (Or at least chase them around) so he obviously still has that wolf instinct in him. That, or he just really likes cats (To eat).

YEah, I guess that's true. I've got two dogs and three cats, and they get laong pretty well, but every now and then the dogs will corner and chase a cat. It's weird, though, because one of the dogs actually lets one of the cats cuddle with her. Maybe they're just less wolfie.

Yeah, my dogs are pretty smart, and also very mellow, so that may be why they don't chase the cats all the time. They prefer sitting on the couch and being petted to running around chasing cats.

Ha ha, that's weird! It's so strange how some dogs are insane and will attack anything that moves, while others are so relaxed you can catch them sleeping with bunnies.

It is selfish. Unless the person knows what they are doing they shouldn't have them around. I made a stamp about it because i'm sick of hearing these stories.

I agree with youy guys above conversation. It took this long to domesticate dogs, these idiot people are just undomesticating them
