UPDATE: Icon Set IS FINALLY RELEASED AND READY FOR DOWNLOAD!This is NOT an icon set download! This is a picture of only just a few of the dozens of icons I have already developed for this coming set! And dozens more are planned!
Currently the icon set's .PNG resolution will be 256x256. This set will likely also be available as high quality .ICO images as well!

This set will be very large when completed, AT LEAST 300-350 ICONS WILL BE INCLUDED!! Possibly more! Hope you enjoy!
I'm really excited for the release of this set and I hope you are too, I'm quite proud of it so far!
The quality and look of this set's icons WILL be improved where needed!
What are your thoughts of the set so far based on this image? If you have any suggestions on what you think I should do with the set, feel free to let me know!

How do I actually add the icons? Do I go manually and change them myself?

With my Simply Styled Icon Set (Flat Colors) FREE version, you'll have to figure that one out for yourself because I only the icons in .PNG to download. But if you get my Premium version, everything's all set up where you can change system icons automatically.

As images to change for docks and things. .ICO changes system icons, while .PNG are graphic images for more simple customizing... like changing dock icons and such, which many people prefer

For some icons for windows, can you create them in more than 1 color? such as blue, green, red,...

Without going into too many superlatives, let me just say that this is breathtaking and amazing!
Despite the flatness, there is just so much "depth". And of course, I love seeing the Rainmeter icon

Really glad you like it! And sorry about that, I've been kinda busy lately with things. I have been working on it, but I also have to worry about making an HD version of this set too, and .ICO versions, it takes a bit of time unfortunately.. I'll get it done as soon as I can!

It's really a lot of work, and I'm planning on possibly making 2 versions, a standard 256px version (free) and a HQ version (little fee). So it might be a while still. Sorry. :/

hmmm, the folder icons would look better if they were just flat versions of stock Windows folders, just like explorer icon is. other than that, all I can say is that I can't wait to get my hands on the pack!

I was considering making them look like the default Windows folders, or at least with the same color scheme as the Explorer icon is but those colors didn't look very good. And there is only one set of folders for anyone that uses the set, so Windows, Mac, Linux, etc. users. So I don't want them to be fully styled for Windows exclusively. Hope that cleared things up for you.

Must say though that when this comes out, i will change some icons... I find the libary icon too darkish and simple, you could have stayed a bit closer to the Original in my opinion. But alltogether this is exactly what i think it should look like officially. Let's hope Microsoft will pay more attention to the desktop environment in a future update.

I can't help but notice in the preview that the backslash on the drives are at different slants

Actually, it appears to be an optical illusion because the C:\ drive slash is further to the right than the E:\ slash (due to different character widths of E vs C) I was incorrect!
