What are Pride Coated Gems?

Pride coated gems are a set of gems who've stood in solidarity with humans on earth to be prideful of their identity and sexuality and like to show it to the world.
To do this effectively, These gems have commission the Crystal Gems to dye their gems in the colors of the pride flag of their choice to wear their identity pridefully and proudly.
This is however a removeable coating pigment and it is this way because every gem is of course allowed to uncoat themselves if they ever chose to for whatever reason.

Some gems may wear their coating at all times because they wanna show their pride outwards while others may only coat themselves in safe places due to a difficult home situation. Whatever a gem choses is of course their own choice so there shall not be put judgement on them for whatever way they wanna show their pride. In the end, what really matters is that gems and humans alike are perfect the way they are. <3
