Description
I baited this honeybee with corn syrup so she would let me get close.Tech specs: Canon 40D (F11, 1/250, ISO 100) + a Canon MPE-65mm macro lens (@ 4x) + an MT-24EX macro twin flash (-1 FEC).

There's so much going on here- the minuscule hairs, the tiny drops of corn syrup stuck to the hairs, the shiny surface of the drops of syrup.

That's not corn syrup drops -it's actually pumpkin pollen. If you click on the image to get to the larger version you can see the barbs on it (huge pollen).
